General Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tEnsure furnishing, facilities and equipment are clean and in good repair, well maintained and replaced\/refurbished as required
\n\tPerform preventative maintenance, installations, repairs and troubleshooting on refrigeration and electrical systems and general facilities
\n\tPerform rotation cleaning duties as required
\n\tReport any accident, or damage to equipment immediately
\n\tEnsure that the facilities and equipment are continuously in good repair and safe for human use
\n\tResponding to breakdowns timeously<\/p>\n
Customer Specific Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tEnsure guest satisfaction by performing such duties as attending to their requests and inquiries courteously and efficiently
\n\tEnsure that all logistics duties are performed and completed with minimal interruption and inconvenience to guests, and the service operation
\n\tIf spoken to acknowledge guests using the appropriate levels of discretion and the correct forms of address
\n\tReport or hand in any property belonging to the guest left lying open in the room
\n\tEnsures that areas where jobs are undertaken are left properly clean and ready for use
\n\tAlways display a polite and gracious manner.<\/p>\n
Quality Specific Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tComply with and apply all relevant quality standards, policies, processes, rules and procedures
\n\tFollow the established sequences of logistics service, adjusting for the needs of operations
\n\tComplete any paperwork required as part of the job
\n\tNotice and communicate to management opportunities to further improve quality standards
\n\tContribute to the implementation of on-going and continuous improvements<\/p>\n
Facilities<\/p>\n
\tMaintain any storage facilities to ensure they are clean and tidy
\n\tBe aware and familiar with operating procedures for all departmental machines, equipment and tools<\/p>\n
Qualifications<\/p>\n
Knowledge and Experience<\/p>\n
\tQualified Electrical \/ Mechanic or Plumber with recognised Trade Test
\n\tExperienced in advanced facilities and equipment maintenance practices
\n\tAbility to effectively communicate with others in English
\n\tIntermediate level equipment and facilities maintenance knowledge and application thereof through duties
\n\tDisplays a sense of urgency and dedication to meeting the needs and wishes of others
\n\tDedicated to achieving high standards by working with others in a friendly and professional manner
\n\tAbility to work effectively and safely when under pressure and when placed with demands<\/p>\n
