What you will bring<\/p>\n
Inherent requirements for the position (non-negotiable)<\/p>\n
\tBCom Accounting Degree
\n\t5 years of relevant experience, ideally within the property management sector.<\/p>\n
Additional demonstrable requirements:<\/p>\n
\tProficiency in computer applications including SAP, MS Office (Advanced Excel, Outlook, Word)
\n\tStrong administration and time management skills
\n\tAdvanced financial calculations and reporting capabilities
\n\tBusiness planning expertise, particularly in the context of property asset management
\n\tIn-depth understanding of financial policies, procedures, and processes
\n\tProven experience in capital expenditure and contract management
\n\tFamiliarity with legal aspects pertaining to property management, including leases and regulatory compliance
\n\tKnowledge of financial statements (IS, BS), budgeting processes, GAAP principles applicable to property accounting, and tax implications in property transactions
\n\tExcellent communication skills, particularly in conveying financial information to stakeholders in property management
\n\tEffective team leadership and change management skills, essential for guiding financial strategies in property portfolios
\n\tStrong financial and business acumen, with a demonstrated ability to optimize financial performance in property assets<\/p>\n
What you will be doing<\/p>\n
As part of our team, you will be responsible for comprehensive portfolio management, focusing on optimizing financial performance and client satisfaction within the property management sector. Your key responsibilities will include:<\/p>\n
Financial Management<\/p>\n
\tManagement accounts preparation.
\n\tForecast updates and management.
\n\tFinancial Reporting : Finco, Exco and Board pack preparation
\n\tGeneral Ledger Management.
\n\tDebtors management- weekly
\n\tCreditors management-monthly
\n\tPayroll processing
\n\tAuditing & Analytical explanations
\n\tManagement information and reports
\n\tPro-active feedback and reporting to business Monthly statutory reporting (i.e. Trial balance, cash flow management, VAT and Income tax. etc )
\n\tIncome management (Management Fees, recoveries, commissions and sundry income due by Landlords)
\n\tBudgeting (Analyze, determine tendencies, evaluate, budget management & explain deviations)<\/p>\n
System development<\/p>\n
\tAutomation of processes with regards to reporting and management fees.
\n\tDevelopment in conjunction with Senior Financial Manager and CFO
\n\tInput how transactions should be treated financially on IT systems
\n\tSAP and BI Tool maintenance
\n\tStructure and hierarchy maintenance<\/p>\n
Business Unit Profit\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tReview results (Cost Centers)
\n\tManage actuals vs budgets (Variance analysis)
\n\tReceive the input of functions on budget
\n\tInput w.r.t projections Control and update Projections
\n\tPro active identification of over and under spending
\n\tManage Income and Balance sheet of region
\n\tCost control<\/p>\n
Audit and Compliance<\/p>\n
\tHandle queries on audit report
\n\tImplement audit recommendations
\n\tPreparation of monthly Compliance schedules<\/p>\n
