\tiStore is the home of everything Apple, and Africa\u2019s largest Apple Premium Reseller. With a retail footprint of more than 41 physical and online stores across Africa, we provide expert advice, Apple Authorised Repairs, business and education solutions, training, and technical support for everything Apple.
\n\tWe are looking for a passionate and driven\u00a0Assistant Store Manager\u00a0to support the leadership of our\u00a0Pretoria North\u00a0region. This role is responsible for helping drive store performance, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and developing a high-performing retail team.
\n\tWorking closely with the Store Manager, the Assistant Store Manager will help lead daily operations, ensure operational excellence, and inspire the team to achieve and exceed sales, customer experience, and development targets.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tSupport the Store Manager in leading and motivating the store team to achieve\u00a0sales targets, KPIs, and operational excellence
\n\tDeliver an exceptional\u00a0Apple-inspired customer experience\u00a0and ensure the store becomes the go-to destination for anything Apple
\n\tAssist in managing\u00a0daily store operations, including stock management, merchandising, and store standards
\n\tCoach and develop team members through\u00a0regular feedback, training, and performance management
\n\tEnsure the team maintains strong\u00a0product knowledge, particularly across Apple products and services
\n\tMonitor store performance and assist with implementing strategies to\u00a0improve sales and customer engagement
\n\tEnsure compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational processes
\n\tFoster a positive and collaborative team culture that supports growth and development
\n\tSupport the Store Manager in driving\u00a0staff productivity, engagement, and retention
\n\tBe willing to float to other iStores in the area if needed<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements<\/p>\n
\tMatric (Grade 12)\u00a0\u2013 required
\n\tTertiary qualification in Business, Retail Management, or related field\u00a0\u2013 advantageous
\n\t3+ years\u2019 experience managing or supervising retail sales teams\u00a0(10+ staff)
\n\tExperience working in\u00a0high-value retail environments
\n\tStrong\u00a0retail operations knowledge, including stock management, sales reporting, and store standards
\n\tProven\u00a0leadership and people management experience
\n\tAbility to work in a\u00a0fast-paced retail environment\u00a0and adapt quickly to change
\n\tStrong\u00a0customer service orientation\u00a0and passion for delivering exceptional experiences
\n\tMatrix management capability\u00a0to collaborate across different business functions<\/p>\n
