Job Description<\/p>\n
\tWe currently have a vacancy for the position of Maintenance Coordinator ,based at our Head office in the West Rand. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day maintenance and general upkeep of the exterior and interior of the building by carrying out repairs and scheduled, emergency and ad-hoc work according to set standards and ensuring that all building services runs efficient to prevent inconvenience to daily operations.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Duties and responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:<\/p>\n
\tResponsible for general maintenance functions such as general repair works, minor electrical repairs, painting, attend to leaks and blocked drains, hanging of pictures, performing of general plumbing duties.
\n\tResponsible to ensure floors are in good condition and ensuring that ablution facilities are in working conditions on a daily basis.
\n\tResponsible for undertaking of carpentry duties such as repair and replacement of door locks.
\n\tEmergency lighting and power supply in case of power failures – to be checked and tested regularly.
\n\tResponsible for ensuring proper lighting in the building by replacing all light and ballasts which are not in a working order.
\n\tEnsure work is completed in accordance with the safety guidelines and standards.
\n\tInspection of interior and exterior of building and parking areas on a daily basis and ensuring adherence to Occupation Health and Safety standards in daily operations
\n\tDeveloping and implementing preventative maintenance plans
\n\tMaintain all relevant maintenance inventory and equipment and ensure proper storage.
\n\tMaintenance and monthly checking of the generators.
\n\tOther duties as may be assigned from time to time.<\/p>\n
\u00a0Requirements Minimum: \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12
\n\tTechnical Matric advantageous
\n\tTechnical qualification advantageous
\n\tMinimum 2-3 years working experience
\n\tPractical exposure in basic tasks of repairs and building maintenance
\n\tBe in possession of a valid code 8 driver\u2019s license
\n\tKnowledge of OHS Act & ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems advantageous<\/p>\n
\u00a0Knowledge & skills:<\/p>\n
\tHave broad technical knowledge with a strong focus on work standards, safety standards and customer relationship management
\n\tHave the ability to work under pressure, work overtime within reason & serve on stand-by when necessary
\n\tExcellent customer service and negotiation skills.
\n\tBe deadline driven
\n\tBe initiating action (innovation) orientated
\n\tProblem solving skills
\n\tA highly detail-oriented and process-focused orientation<\/p>\n
