\tThe Technical Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining complex food manufacturing equipment and processes to ensure optimal production efficiency, product quality, and safety. The role supports continuous improvement initiatives and ensures compliance with food safety standards and operational procedures.<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12 \/ Matric (essentil)
\n\tNQF Level 4 or higher in Engeneering , Food Technology , or related field (preferred)
\n\tTechnical trade certificate or equivalent (advantageous)<\/p>\n
Duties & Responsibilities\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tConduct a thorour inspection of work area to identify and eliminate any safety hazards.
\n\tVerify that equipment using compressed air has completed its cycle; manually release residual pressure before proceeding
\n\tEnsure all electrical panels and switches are properly covered to prevent water ingress during cleaning
\n\tEnsure strict adherence to food safety, product quality, and Safe Quality Food (SQF) standards at all times. Promptly report any deviations to the immediate Team Leader or Shift Manager.
\n\tExecute packaging changeovers effeciently and accurately.
\n\tConfirm the correct usage and availability of raw materials to prevent production delays.
\n\tAccuratelt complete all required quality and operational documentation in a timely manner.
\n\tContinuously inspect products during production to ensure they meet quality specifications.
\n\tVerify that all products and components align with the scheduled production run and current specification sheet.Proactively suggest improvements to the Team Leader or Shift Manager to enhance efficiency and performance.
\n\tEnsure all safeguards are securely in place before operating any equipment.
\n\tPerform other responsibilities as assigned to support plant operatoons and continuous improvement.\u00a0<\/p>\n
