This role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, increasing share from existing accounts, and positioning the hotel as the preferred choice for corporate travel, meetings and events.<br \/>\n\tThis role supports the hotel\u2019s commercial strategy by developing and executing targeted sales initiatives, maintaining strong client relationships, managing RFP cycles, and ensuring accurate data and market insights driven decision\u2011making.<\/p>\n<p>Duties and Responsibilities:<\/p>\n<p>\tDrive growth of the IBT segment by securing preferred partnerships with key corporate accounts and travel management companies.<br \/>\n\tManage the full IBT RFP lifecycle, including rate negotiations, compliance with Hilton brand guidelines, and securing acceptance in global distribution channels.<br \/>\n\tStrengthen relationships with global and regional Hilton Worldwide Sales teams to maximize IBT exposure and account penetration.<br \/>\n\tMonitor IBT production performance, adjusting account strategies to increase room nights and share of wallet.<br \/>\n\tIdentify new corporate travel opportunities within high\u2011volume sectors and negotiate long\u2011term preferred agreements.<br \/>\n\tCollaborate with Revenue Management and commercial head to set competitive IBT pricing and evaluate market rate movements.<br \/>\n\tDevelop targeted sales activities to position the hotel as a preferred choice for corporate travelers, including loyalty\u2011based incentives and experience enhancers.<br \/>\n\tSales Strategy: Develop and implement corporate sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand the customer base using all tools available.<br \/>\n\tBuild and maintain strong relationships with key customers, identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products or services.<br \/>\n\tDevelop and manage sales forecasts, providing regular updates to senior management.<br \/>\n\tConduct market research and analysis to stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and customer needs.<br \/>\n\tProactively source and secure conventions, meetings, and conference opportunities aligned with the hotel\u2019s space and business mix strategy.<br \/>\n\tConduct detailed needs analyses for convention planners to create tailored proposals that optimize event profitability.<br \/>\n\tLead site inspections and property showcases focusing on meeting space, technology capabilities, and accommodation fit for convention or meetings delegates.<br \/>\n\tMaintain close alignment with Events and Operations teams to ensure seamless planning and execution of conferences and meetings.<br \/>\n\tBuild long\u2011term relationships with PCOs (Professional Conference Organizers), TMCs, and industry associations to drive recurring convention business.<br \/>\n\tTrack conference and convention pipeline through CRM systems, providing accurate forecasting and revenue contribution reports.<br \/>\n\tRepresent the property at convention bureaus, trade shows, and business tourism platforms to elevate the hotel\u2019s presence in the MICE market.<br \/>\n\tEnsure we are loading, tracking and stating all our contracted customers on corporate booking tools and platforms ensuring we remain visible within the market<\/p>\n<p>REQUIREMENTS:<\/p>\n<p>\tProven sales experience: A minimum of 5 years of sales experience, preferably in a corporate sales environment. Promptly report all safety hazards and maintenance requirements.<\/p>\n<p>SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY<\/p>\n<p>\tThe individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.<br \/>\n\tStrong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.<br \/>\n\tAbility to speak, read and write English fluently<br \/>\n\tExcellent communication and interpersonal skills<br \/>\n\tSolid industry knowledge covering hotel operations, IBT and MICE markets, corporate travel tools (GDS\/TMC), competitive\/commercial analysis, and CRM systems such as Delphi.<\/p>\n<p>QUALIFICATION STANDARDS<\/p>\n<p>EDUCATION<\/p>\n<p>\tAny combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from High School or any other combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. High School diploma required.<br \/>\n\tA tertiary qualification in Hospitality, Business, or Sales is an advantage. Candidates with a high school diploma supported by equivalent training and proven experience are also eligible.<\/p>\n<p>GROOMING\/UNIFORMS<\/p>\n<p>\tAll employees must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance.
