Description<\/p>\n
\tEnsure invoices are properly authorised in accordance with approved levels of authority.
\n\tEnsure that orders are matched against invoices with reference to quantities, quality, description and price.
\n\tCapture invoices on SAGE from all supporting documentation supplied.
\n\tEnsure that VAT is correctly applied to invoices and correctly captured on SAGE.
\n\tAllocate expenses to the correct Supplier and General Ledger accounts.
\n\tEnsure all documentation meets the minimum SARS and legal requirements.
\n\tReconcile the creditor\u2019s statements.
\n\tLiaise with suppliers on any discrepancies, credits, disputed items, etc.
\n\tPrepare EFT payments, COD and monthly, and load on to the banking platform.
\n\tEnsure all supplier payment deadlines are adhered to in accordance with agreed supplier payment terms.
\n\tBuild solid relationships with suppliers.
\n\tSend remittance advices to suppliers after completion of the payment run.
\n\tAttend to supplier queries.
\n\tEnsure patient refunds, monthly rentals, etc are processed and paid timeously.
\n\tMonitor and maintain the creditors age analysis on an ongoing basis.
\n\tProvide feedback to management on all long outstanding amounts on the creditors age analysis.
\n\tPrepare other reports for management as requested.
\n\tConduct thorough checks to ensure the prevention of duplicate payments.

\tMatric
\n\tA minimum of 1-2 years\u2019 experience in a Creditors Clerk role
\n\tA tertiary qualification will be advantageous
\n\tComputer literacy is an essential job requirement, e.g., Word and Excel
