Job Summary<\/p>\n
\tWe are looking for a\u00a0Communications Operations Manager\u00a0acts as the \u201ckey integrator\u201d for the global Corporate Communications & Operations function\u2014ensuring governance, operational effectiveness, consistency, and integration across global teams and markets. This role drives efficiency, standardized ways of working, governance structures, capability building, and the rollout of next-generation communications tools, including AI-enabled processes.
\n\tYou will be responsible for establishing and maintaining core operational frameworks that strengthen communication excellence across the organization. This includes governance, policy development, process optimization, capability development and oversight of AI capabilities for communications.
\n\tThis position can be based in Lund, Budaors, Arganda del Rey, Istanbul, Athens, Johannesburg, Cairo, Nairobi, Lahore or Casablanca.<\/p>\n
What you will do<\/p>\n
Establish and Sustain the Communications Governance Framework<\/p>\n
\tMaintain and continuously improve governance frameworks that ensure compliance, alignment, and consistency across global and market communication teams.
\n\tMonitor adherence to standards, brand consistency, communication protocols, and operational requirements.
\n\tEnsure governance approaches remain relevant, user-friendly, and effectively adopted across the organization.<\/p>\n
Policies & Guidelines<\/p>\n
\tDevelop, update, and communicate clear policies and guidelines for all major communications disciplines.
\n\tEnsure global standards are translated into practical market ready guidance.
\n\tPartner with global communications leaders and SMEs to maintain up to date, high quality documentation.<\/p>\n
Process Design & Optimization<\/p>\n
\tDesign, document, and refine core communications processes that drive efficiency, transparency, and quality.
\n\tIdentify bottlenecks and lead continuous improvement initiatives across workflows such as content creation, approvals, measurement, and planning cycles.
\n\tPartner with cross-functional teams to ensure operational alignment across systems and tools.<\/p>\n
Ways of Working (WoW)<\/p>\n
\tPromote integrated, collaborative ways of working across global, regional, and market communications teams and cross functions.
\n\tDrive adoption of shared tools, platforms, and collaboration practices.
\n\tFacilitate engagement, consistency, and alignment through structured WoW frameworks, playbooks, and routines.<\/p>\n
Upskilling & Capability Building<\/p>\n
\tIdentify communications skill gaps across global teams and markets.
\n\tDesign and implement capability building initiatives, including training programs, toolkits, onboarding materials, and learning pathways.
\n\tPartner with global SMEs, HR\/L&D, and external experts to scale learning across the organization.
\n\tLead Communications AI Capabilities & AI Office for Comms
\n\tServe as the lead for the AI Office for Communications, overseeing AI governance and capability building.
\n\tEnable the integration of AI-driven tools, ensuring responsible, compliant, and effective adoption across communication teams and markets.
\n\tSupport teams with training, best practices, and ongoing AI readiness.<\/p>\n
We believe you have<\/p>\n
Professional Experience<\/p>\n
\t8\u201310 years of experience in Communications Operations, PMO, Governance, Corporate Excellence, or a similar strategic operations role.
\n\tExperience in a large, matrixed global organization.
\n\tDemonstrated success establishing governance frameworks and enabling operational excellence.
\n\tStrong background in process design, operational efficiency, or capability-building programs.
\n\tExperience leading technology or tool adoption programs (AI experience is a strong plus).<\/p>\n

\tStrong operational mindset with a passion for efficiency and continuous improvement.
\n\tAbility to design clear, effective processes and governance structures.

\tBachelor\u2019s degree in Communications, Business, Organizational Development, or related field.<\/p>\n
