Your mission as a Workshop Technician<\/p>\n
\tAs a Workshop Technician at Jet Park, you\u2019ll be part of a team that drives excellence in mining technology. Your mission is to deliver safe, precise, and reliable repairs that keep our equipment performing at its best. With every rebuild, inspection, and solution you provide, you\u2019ll shape progress, grow your expertise, and make a real impact on our customers and the industry.<\/p>\n
What you\u2019ll do<\/p>\n
\tWork safely within a workshop environment
\n\tAdherence to SHEQ policies and procedure
\n\tService, maintenance and repair on Epiroc’s new and used equipment
\n\tCarry out modifications and software updates on batteries and chargers
\n\tComponent rebuilds and repairs
\n\tCarry out high level repairs on batteries
\n\tFault finding and problem solving
\n\tAbility to work well with others in a team
\n\tCarry out service, troubleshooting and repairs as per OEM standards and requirements.
\n\tCompile service and failure reports.
\n\tCompleting warranty and upgrade claims
\n\tTimekeeping and tracking of labour.
\n\tKeep record of all repairs
\n\tCommunication to product manager<\/p>\n
What you\u2019ll bring<\/p>\n
\t3 \u2013 5 years mining equipment (surface and underground) product knowledge and experience.
\n\tGrade 12 or equivalent with a Trade qualification (Millwright, Fitter, or related trade).
\n\tStrong problem-solving ability and troubleshooting skills.
\n\tUnderstanding of schematics, including knowledge of hydraulics, electronics, pneumatics, mechanical and electrical systems
\n\tExperience with component evaluation and failure analysis, including the creation of detailed failure reports and recommendations for corrective action.<\/p>\n
Who you are<\/p>\n
\tAdvanced skills to troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems.
\n\tGood planning and organizational skills.
\n\tAbility to work according to safe work procedures and machine specifications.
\n\tValid driver’s license.<\/p>\n
