Job Purpose:<\/p>\n
\tThe Technician is responsible for servicing, testing and repair of products over a different range of products like printers and networking devices and\/or other related equipment and components depending on the requirements of the position. The technician also provides technical support to customers relevant to the specific area\/discipline.<\/p>\n
Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tTechnician Service
\n\tFollow the correct test process on all brands<\/p>\n
Customer Satisfaction<\/p>\n
\tMaintain work rate at above 90% of SLA (with 3 business days)
\n\tMaintaining rework rate of below 2% within a 90 day period between barcodes (service on printers will be excluded except if bad workmanship)
\n\tThe notes on the job must be always updated
\n\tAccept repair on the ERP immediately after removing the item from the customer store.
\n\tHave no test stock outstanding for more than 2 business days
\n\tProvide customer support, either telephonic or at the front desk<\/p>\n
General<\/p>\n
\tAssist in receiving and booking in of stock.
\n\tAssist in dispatching stock.
\n\tContributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
\n\tProvide customer support, either telephonic or at the front desk.<\/p>\n
OHS, ISO and legal requirements<\/p>\n
\tEnsure compliance with environmental, OHS and safety including quality standards set forth by the company, PPE regulations, legislation and policy requirements.<\/p>\n
Housekeeping<\/p>\n
\tKeep work areas clean at all time<\/p>\n
General<\/p>\n
\tDocuments actions by completing production and quality forms
\n\tContribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
\n\tProvide customer support, either telephonic or at the front desk.<\/p>\n
Qualification and Experience:<\/p>\n
\tMatric
\n\tComptia A+ (Must)
\n\tComptia N+ (Must)
\n\t2 Years experience as repairs technician
\n\tDriver\u2019s license<\/p>\n
Skills and Knowledge:<\/p>\n
\tGood knowledge of general administrative and internal processes
\n\tKnowledge of ICT industry
\n\tBasic computer literacy especially in Microsoft applications skills
\n\tProblem solving skills (analytical)
\n\tGood communication skills (verbal and written)
\n\tTechnical skills and problem analysis
