Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tManage the end-to-end financial function including daily accounting operations and monthly\/annual financial reporting. \u00a0
\n\tPrepare, review and present accurate financial statements, performance reports and variance analyses
\n\tEnsure timely reconciliations Lead the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts in consultation with department heads Monitor budget implementation and provide variance analysis to management. \u00a0
\n\tOversee procurement processes for goods and services and ensure compliance with internal and statutory supply chain management policies Review purchase requisitions, ensure competitive sourcing and proper authorisation.
\n\tOversee monthly payroll processing and reconcile payroll accounts \u00a0Manage claims and payments, ensuring accuracy and adherence to policies and legislation Coordinate and manage audit processes \u00a0Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, accounting standards and relevant legislation \u00a0
\n\tProvide leadership, mentoring and guidance to the finance team Review and deployment of policies for both procurement and finance Development of the financial control\u2019s tools Prepare the annual and quarterly budgets \u00a0Monitoring of short and long term contracts
\n\t\u00a0Advisory on the financial plans Assisting on new developments of funding proposals and sponsorships\u00a0<\/p>\n
Key requirements<\/p>\n
\tBachelor\u2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Professional qualification desirable \u00a0
\n\tMinimum of 5-8 years\u2019 relevant experience in financial management Proven experience in budget management, payroll, procurement, audit coordination and financial reporting
\n\tStrong understanding of financial regulations, compliance frameworks and public finance management principles Strategic thinking and leadership Strong governance and risk orientation
\n\tHigh ethical standards and integrity Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills<\/p>\n
