Job Purpose<\/p>\n
\tTo ensure efficient management of inventory and materials within the warehouse by maintaining stock levels, storing materials securely in an organized manner, and accurately tracking all incoming and outgoing materials.
\n\tThe role contributes to seamless supply chain activities, enhances productivity, and supports cost effective operations by overseeing the physical flow of materials (goods reception, warehousing, line-side replenishment, packaging, and shipping) while adhering to Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) standards.<\/p>\n
Warehouse Operations Management<\/p>\n
\tAdhere to health and safety regulations related to the storage and handling of materials to minimize the risk of accidents and injuries, including those involving hazardous substances or heavy equipment.
\n\tReceive and check incoming stock against purchase orders.
\n\tMaintain safe handling practices for tools and materials stored, contributing to a safer working environment.
\n\tStore items in appropriate locations within the store or warehouse.
\n\tUtilize inventory management software or databases to track stock and update inventory records.
\n\tContribute to assessments of warehouse operations and inventory management processes by identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices.
\n\tManage waste from maintenance and warehouse operations, ensuring the proper disposal of hazardous materials or recycling where possible.
\n\tEnsure the first-in, first-out (FIFO) or last-in, first-out (LIFO) inventory methods are used to minimize spoilage or obsolescence of items.
\n\tWork to reduce losses due to damaged or expired consumables and theft through proper handling and security measures.
\n\tConduct routine maintenance checks on equipment and report any issues.
\n\tfollow effective reorder points and procedures to ensure the timely replenishment of stock on the lineside supply.
\n\tMonitor stock levels to ensure an adequate supply and prevent shortages.
\n\tMaintain accurate records of inventory movements.
\n\tManage the storage of items to maximize space efficiency.
\n\tParticipate in team development and individual training programs to improve skills and knowledge related to inventory and warehouse management.
\n\tAssist internal and external customers in obtaining materials and resolving any inquiries.
\n\tConduct regular inspections of incoming and outgoing materials to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
\n\tMaintain a clean and safe work environment and apply 5S housekeeping principles in the warehouse.
\n\tDocument any issues through the warehouse operation action list, such as damaged goods or discrepancies, incidents, or other issues, and follow company protocols to resolve them.
\n\tMaintain accurate records of inventory using the company\u2019s ERP system, including stock levels, orders, and receipts
\n\tUpdate the missing part records with operations to monitor and track material in warehouse
\n\tReceive incoming goods and verify their quantity and quality against purchase orders.
\n\tMaintain accurate records of all inventory movements, including receipts and shipments.
\n\tConduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
\n\tProvide information about inventory availability.
\n\tEnsure proper labeling and signage for easy access and identification.
\n\tDuring loading and offloading, ensure the safe loading and unloading of materials, ensuring that goods are handled properly to prevent damage.
\n\tAssist in internal and external audits relating to the warehouse by providing necessary documentation and facilitating inspections.
\n\tInvestigate and address any quality-related complaints or issues and implement problem-solving measures to ensure that root causes are identified during QRQC.
\n\tCoordinate stock in transit and stock movement for intraplant material shipments.
\n\tAssist in receiving indirect goods delivered physically to the warehouse.
\n\tContribute to identifying obsolete materials, slow-moving materials, duplicate materials, valuation split items, and items to be scrapped.
\n\tEnsure compliance with reverse logistics processes, including handling quality nonconforming components, parts failed from trains, damaged components, obsolete items, retrofit components, repair loop processes, and in-house repair centre processes.<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements<\/p>\n
\tDiploma in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Logistics or equivalent.
\n\t2 \u2013 3 Years Warehousing experience including the receiving and dispatching of material and use of Warehouse Management Systems.
\n\tForklift or equivalent equipment license.
\n\tSAPICS certification. (advantageous)
\n\t2 \u2013 3 Years SAP ERP System knowledge. (advantageous)<\/p>\n
