\tDis-Chem Pharmacies has an opportunity available for a Store Health Manager for its Ferndale Store. The purpose of the role is to manage the health division within the store, this entails stock control, working towards achieving sales targets, managing in-store promotions, implementing head office initiatives.<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements:<\/p>\n
Essential:<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12 \/ Matric
\n\tMinimum of 3 years\u2019 retail and sales experience
\n\tMinimum of 1-year experience in supervision\/management of a staff complement of between 3 and 8 people
\n\tComputer literate \u2013 MS Office<\/p>\n
Advantageous:<\/p>\n
\tQualification within the health focus category
\n\tRelevant experience in the vitamins, supplements and health food industry
\n\tSAP experience
\n\tQlikview experience<\/p>\n
Job Specification:<\/p>\n
\tDirect and support sales staff under the guidance of the Store Manager and in accordance with the Dis-Chem policies, procedures and retail working practices.
\n\tEnsure implementation of Head office, Regional Manager and Regional Health Manager Strategy and initiatives.
\n\tManage staff member performance through the performance management system.
\n\tEnsure the Health Division is adequately staffed at all times, and establish an appropriate work roster.
\n\tManage all in-store promoters for the department.
\n\tManage and address customer compliments and complaints.
\n\tServe customers and implement a high standard of customer care and service.
\n\tMaintain merchandising and displays, to ensure a high standard of cleanliness.
\n\tEnsure all goods are correctly priced and labelled.
\n\tWorking towards achieving department, vendor, brand, products and sales objectives.
\n\tEnsure monthly promotions are implemented effectively to maximise its objectives.
\n\tMaintain optimal stock levels through effective planning, monitoring and ordering of stock.
\n\tManage sales representatives and direct supplier orders.
\n\tEnsure proper stock rotation to prevent the stock from expiring.
\n\tManage back shopping in the designated areas.
\n\tBe accountable and manage stock control through effective planning and ordering of stock in collaboration with Dis-Chem\u2019s warehouse and suppliers.<\/p>\n
