KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS<\/p>\n
The successful candidate will be expected, among others to:<\/p>\n
\tManage the bidding process.
\n\tManage the bid specifications, bid evaluation and bid adjudication administrative function.
\n\tManage the coordination, review and monitoring of contract compliance by determine whether product\/ services are delivered at the right time, of the right quality, right products, right place, right conditions, right quality and the right price according to the contract.
\n\tSupervise employees performance to ensure an effective bids process and contract management and undertake all administrative functions required.<\/p>\n
COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS<\/p>\n
\tPFMA, Treasury regulations and other SCM guidelines.
\n\tBusiness and financial management principles.
\n\tStatutory requirements e.g. financial, HR, Labour relations.
\n\tService Level Agreement framework.
\n\tOperational policies and procedures.
\n\tFinancial Control Techniques.
\n\tPrinciples and practice of financial accounting.
\n\tCorporate Governance i.e. King IV report.<\/p>\n

Formal Qualifications:<\/p>\n
\tNQF Level 7\u00a0qualification in B. Com Supply Chain Management\/ Logistics.
\n\tChartered Institute of procurement and Supply or equivalent body active membership.
\n\tB. Com (Hons) Supply Chain Management\/ Logistics will be an added advantage.<\/p>\n
Experience:<\/p>\n
\t5 years Bids management and contract administration experience.
\n\t3 years at supervisory level.<\/p>\n
