Job Purpose<\/p>\n
\tAs an Engineering Graduate, you will be an integral part of the engineering team at our plants. You will have the opportunity to apply your academic knowledge to real-world industrial challenges, support plant operations, and help drive improvements in equipment reliability, performance, and efficiency. Key Accountabilities and Outputs<\/p>\n
\tSupport the operation, maintenance, and improvement of mechanical and electrical systems in the plant.
\n\tAssist in the design, testing, and implementation of new mechanical and electrical equipment and machinery.
\n\tPerform routine inspections and troubleshoot issues to ensure smooth plant operations.
\n\tCollaborate with senior engineers on project-based work, including plant upgrades, efficiency enhancements, and safety initiatives.
\n\tAnalyze data and assist in the development of reports for performance analysis and process optimization.
\n\tContribute to the development and implementation of preventative maintenance schedules.
\n\tParticipate in continuous improvement efforts and contribute ideas to enhance plant processes, reduce downtime, and improve productivity.
\n\tEnsure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards in all aspects of plant operations.<\/p>\n
Qualifications and Experience<\/p>\n
\tRecent graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical\/Electrical Engineering or a related discipline (BENG).
\n\tStrong theoretical knowledge in mechanical design, thermodynamics, materials science, and manufacturing processes.
\n\tHands-on experience (internships, projects, etc.) in a manufacturing or industrial environment is an advantage.
\n\tA strong interest in plant engineering, process optimization, and maintenance activities.
\n\tExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
\n\tStrong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
\n\tA proactive, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
\n\tFamiliarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations in a manufacturing setting is a plus.<\/p>\n
