As the Head of the Entrepreneurial Leadership (EL) Department, you will:<\/p>\n
\tSet a clear and compelling vision for Entrepreneurial Leadership (EL) learning that aligns with the Academy\u2019s strategic priorities.
\n\tLead and manage a talented teaching team delivering the EL program.
\n\tOversee the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of a transformational curriculum rooted in critical inquiry, design thinking, and experiential learning.
\n\tEnsure effective management of the delivery of key departmental programs and projects, such as the Student Enterprise Program, Build in a Box, and other core activities.
\n\tAlign departmental objectives with ALA\u2019s strategic goals and ensure excellence in teaching and learning.
\n\tFoster external partnerships and represent the Academy across various platforms.<\/p>\n
\u00a0Key tasks and responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tProvide strategic and instructional leadership for the EL department.
\n\tSupervise faculty performance, curriculum development, and program design.
\n\tManage the departmental budget and drive innovation within program delivery.
\n\tOversee co-curricular initiatives that support entrepreneurial leadership learning across the curriculum and beyond the school, such as the iOID grant program.
\n\tBuild and maintain relationships with alumni, external partners, and program funders.
\n\tCollaborate with other Heads of Department to align practice and drive whole-school priorities.
\n\tContinuously measure, evaluate, and report on the impact of departmental programs while designing and implementing tools to assess and continuously enhance learning outcomes.<\/p>\n

\n\tStrong digital literacy with the ability to effectively utilise educational technology to enhance teaching and learning outcomes.

\u00a0Qualifications and Experience<\/p>\n
\tA Bachelor’s degree (Master\u2019s preferred) and at least 5 years of teaching experience, and 3 years of HoD\/people management experience,\u00a0preferably in an academic environment.
\n\tExperience working in multicultural or international educational settings.
\n\tFamiliarity with the Cambridge curriculum or equivalent is desirable.
\n\tbackground in design experience, high-impact programme management, or youth enterprise programs.<\/p>\n
