\tMidas\u00a0is searching for a\u00a0Salesperson \/2IC\u00a0to join the branch in\u00a0Edenvale\u00a0.The purpose of this role is to support the Retail Manager in all retail, operational, and sales functions to ensure profitability, cost control, and excellent customer satisfaction.
\n\tThe incumbent is responsible for driving sales, exceeding targets, managing counter sales, building strong customer relationships, and contributing to the effective functioning of the retail branch.<\/p>\n
Requirements:<\/p>\n
\tMatric
\n\tDiploma in Business Management or Marketing- Desirable
\n\t3-5 years\u2019 knowledge and experience of sales and marketing of spares\/ vehicle parts
\n\tExtensive experience in an automotive sales environment dealing with customer needs.
\n\tSupervisory experience-Essential
\n\tAbility to communicate on all levels
\n\tAssertive with sound interpersonal skills are essential
\n\tStrong attention to detail is essential
\n\tMust be able to work under pressure
\n\tTechnical background- Desirable
\n\tProven track record
\n\tIn depth product knowledge
\n\tSome business acumens, understanding the costs and breakeven scenarios of customer service delivery
\n\tShould be able to carry out his\/her responsibilities with little supervision
\n\tThorough knowledge of the geographical area of responsibility.
\n\tGood planning and time management skills
\n\tBe a good team player
\n\tNegotiation skills
\n\tClear criminal record
\n\tSelf-motivated
\n\tHonest and show integrity

Key Performance Indicators includes, but not limited to:<\/p>\n
\tPlanning, organizing,forecasting and controlling of Retail Responsibilities
\n\tManage and motivate a team of warehouse and sales support staff
\n\tEnsure the compliance with safety, health, and security laws & regulations
\n\tAssist with IR, HR matters
\n\tEnsure that the quality standards are maintained
\n\tContinuous improvement initiatives
\n\tManage counter sales and ensure that optimal customer potential is achieved
\n\tUnderstand & manage the daily function of a retail shop
\n\tKnow the market and grow the existing customer base
\n\tActs as the first point of contact with the customer, portraying professionalism and confidence that delivers the ultimate in customer service
\n\tAchieve the sales target set by the Sales\/Branch\/Retail Manager
\n\tReport all competitor pricing and activities.
\n\tReport all customer information regarding delivery, telesales, and account problems.
\n\tAchieve revenue targets and ensuring that new business is generated by growing customer base and increasing market share in the geographical area of responsibility.
\n\tBuild and strengthen customer relationships.
\n\tReceive inbound customer sales inquiries
\n\tCold calling when necessary
\n\tProvide quotations, product, and service information
\n\tProvide support and pricing details in response to inbound enquiries
\n\tAssist all other departments (Accounts, Despatch, Warehousing, Receiving and Technical) to ensure good co-operation within the company does minimize customer queries.<\/p>\n
