Role Purpose\/Business Unit:<\/p>\n
\tThe role of the Specialist is to develop high level financial models and pricing analysis across prepaid and postpaid deals, including but not limited to frameworks with specific focus across all Vodacom Business channels with respect to profitability and providing recommendations to further improve performance.
\n\tThis will also include reviewing the systems in place to optimise the system functionality to ensure accurate commercial reporting. \u00a0
\n\tIn addition, this role will also provide reporting to support the Sales and Distribution teams in achieving its key strategic goals.<\/p>\n
Your responsibilities will include:<\/p>\n
\tSpecialist financial modelling
\n\tDerive and communicate insights from reporting for the Trade Marketing team to assist in developing deal plans
\n\tCo-create high level financial models and frameworks with the Finance Business Partner for key stakeholders
\n\tReview performance trends and identify risks and opportunities on an ongoing basis.<\/p>\n
Ensure definition of A&R strategy and spend in line with budgeted forecasts, with respect to:<\/p>\n
\toverall acquisition spend
\n\toverall retention spend
\n\taverage A&R across the board\u00a0
\n\tProvide input into detailed financial models and budget\/forecasting processes
\n\tCollaborate with the Finance Business Partner ,VODACOM BUSINESS and the Financial Analytics team to Develop\/Maintain and continuously enhance financial and commercial KPI dashboards
\n\tCreate monthly, quarterly and yearly budgeting and forecasting preparation and reporting
\n\tData mining and analysis to support regular and ad hoc reporting requirements to assist with decision making.
\n\tAssist in maintaining ARPU\u2019s by using profitability reports per device and channel in calculating deals
\n\tAssist in development and implementation of \u00a0a deal maker system where deals can be created, executed and reported on a daily basis<\/p>\n
The ideal candidate for this role will have:<\/p>\n
\tMatric
\n\tRelevant 3yr\/ 4 year Degree
\n\t4-6 years relevant experience or experience dealing with Vendors and OEM\u2019s.<\/p>\n
