\tEnsure compliance with the food safety and quality systems in the assigned area of responsibility. They facilitate continuous improvement, manage documentation , train staff, and analyse KPIs to detect non-conformances and drive corrective actions.<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12 or equivalent.
\n\tQuality Assurance Certificate\/Diploma.
\n\t2-4 years\u2019 experience.
\n\tProven experience as a Quality Systems, preferably in poultry processing.
\n\tSelf-motivated and ability to work independently.
\n\tDetail and accuracy orientated.
\n\tEffective communication skills.
\n\tWillingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, as needed.
\n\tExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
\n\tSolid understanding of safety protocols and procedures.<\/p>\n
Duties and Responsibilities\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tMaintain the Quality Control Program.
\n\tMaintain a high level of hygiene throughout the processing plant.
\n\tReport workers not adhering to the required standard.
\n\tFollow-up of corrective actions.
\n\tCarry out instructions given by Management regarding quality and hygiene.
\n\tEnsure compliance to the quality and food safety systems guideline.
\n\tConduct plant visits according to guidelines.
\n\tDocumentation audits \u2013 Correlation between system and practical real time.
\n\tVerification of procedures, work instructions and records in the plant.
\n\tAssist in and co-ordinate external audits.
\n\tComping relevant statistical reports when required.
\n\tRecording, printing and trending of all customer complaints
\n\tTrending of all corrective actions
\n\tTrending of KFC KPI\u2019s daily
\n\tConduct daily inspections of both plants.
\n\tConduct internal audits.
\n\tConduct weekly plant inspections, and product presentations, compile and email reports.
\n\tConduct KFC calibrations \u2013 twice a year.
\n\tInternal audits \u2013 Issue, trend, schedule and conduct corrective action.
\n\tDaily, weekly and monthly reports.<\/p>\n
