Purpose Statement<\/p>\n
\tThe Manager: IT Governance is responsible for the management of IT Governance, Risk and Compliance according to industry standards.<\/p>\n
Job Responsibilities
\nStrategy Implementation and Product Development<\/p>\n
\tImplement the approved IT strategy and Governance Risk and Compliance (ITGRC) framework
\n\tQuality assure new products and solutions to ensure compliance with policies, standards and legislation<\/p>\n
Commercial and Financial Management<\/p>\n
\tEnsure the solutions and products implemented comply with the relevant legislation such as PFMA<\/p>\n
Governance, Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management<\/p>\n
\tAssist the Head of IT Governance, Risk and Compliance with managing this function
\n\tProvide support with coordinating all activities in relation to Audit, Risk and Compliance
\n\tEnsure compliance with the applicable legislative and regulatory interpretation and corporate risk appetite
\n\tAssess the risk profile in accordance with the business appetite using a full spectrum of risk tools including key risk indicators, risk and control self-assessments, etc
\n\tSupport the development of remedial plans with risk owners to manage IT risks to desired levels on an ongoing basis
\n\tAssist to lead, develop, manage and maintain the governance deliverables lifecycle including audit, compliance measurement, policy deviations and exemptions
\n\tEnsure appropriate oversight over information assets and data integrity processes
\n\tOversee on-going IT improvements and the feasibility of system developments and enhancements
\n\tPromote sound governance principles around IT decision making
\n\tOversee the management of regulatory and compliance related IT requirements
\n\tContribute towards the development of IT policies and standards as and when required to ensure good IT governance
\n\tBuild strong partnering relationships with senior stakeholders across the business to proactively identify issues and continuously improve IT Risk management
\n\tAggregate and produce IT risk reporting on key risks
\n\tActively manage IT risks in accordance with the organisation\u2019s stated risk framework. In particular, ensure risks are properly assessed, evaluated, recorded and that remedial plans are agreed and monitored through to completion
\n\tRepresent Postbank at technology, business and combined assurance forums across the organisation where appropriate<\/p>\n
Role Requirements:
\nQualifications:<\/p>\n
\tBachelor\u2019s degree or equivalent in IT (NQF Level 7)
\n\tITIL v3 Foundation Certification<\/p>\n
Experience and Knowledge of:<\/p>\n
\t5 years\u2019 experience and working knowledge of Governance, Risk and Compliance, Internal Audit or financial services industry
\n\t3 Years exposure to banking, telecommunications or insurance industries
\n\tAdvantageous: 2 years exposure \/ Familiarity with the payment card industry standards<\/p>\n

\tInterpersonal, Analytical, Written and verbal Communication, Time management, Problem-solving, Experienced in engaging executive level stakeholders, Strong analytical and logical skills, Ability to make decisions, The ability to work in a pressurised operational department and Must be able to evaluate and direct.<\/p>\n
