\tSantam Travel Insurance has a position available for a Call Centre Agent who will be based in (Illovo).<\/p>\n
What will make you successful in this role?<\/p>\n
The successful candidate will be required to market and \/ or sell short term insurance products to clients as well as intermediaries.<\/p>\n
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/p>\n
\tInteract with clients (telephonically or on a face to face level)
\n\tOperate in an Inbound call centre environment
\n\tMaintain excellent product knowledge
\n\tProvide correct, factual information relative to products and benefits in accordance with the requirements laid out by the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act (FAIS ACT).
\n\tBe responsible for the administration and processing of documents including but not limited to policies, endorsements, quotations and other supporting documentation \u2022 Resolution of verbal and written queries
\n\tEnsure a high level of customer service including but not limited to excellent phone etiquette, effective written and verbal communication.\u00a0 Ad hoc support to management and the sales team as and when required\u00a0<\/p>\n
Qualifications & Experience<\/p>\n
\tMinimum Matric or suitable equivalent FAIS Accreditation and\u00a0
\n\tRE1 (if they have been in the financial industry)
\n\t3 years\u2019 experience in the Call centre environment\u00a0<\/p>\n
Knowledge & Skills<\/p>\n
\tComputer literate in MS Office Excel, Word and Outlook
\n\tGood interpersonal skills
\n\tGood written and telephonic skills
\n\tGood command of English language Service orientated
\n\tAttention to detail
\n\tWork well under pressure\u00a0
\n\tOutbound experience advantageous\u00a0
\n\tCandidate must have a good understanding of the Travel industry\u00a0<\/p>\n
