CAB Foods (PTY) Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to oversee the smooth operation of the finance department and support organisational performance through strong financial systems and strategies.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tManage and coach finance team members, set goals, and conduct performance reviews.
\n\tOversee month-end procedures, financial statements, journals, provisions and reporting.
\n\tManage bank accounts, cash books, reconciliations and cash flow planning.
\n\tReview and monitor debtors and creditors processes.
\n\tEnsure compliance with SARS submissions, VAT201, EMP201, CIPC and tax planning.
\n\tMaintain and reconcile the Fixed Asset Register.
\n\tPrepare for and manage annual audits.
\n\tDrive innovation, process improvements and organizational efficiencies.
\n\tOversee payroll administration, submissions, and payroll journals.
\n\tMaintain strong reporting and record-keeping systems.
\n\tSupport HR, MBU and training functions.
\n\tExecute general finance duties, budgeting, reforecasting and cost-saving initiatives.
\n\tUphold high standards of personal excellence, leadership and communication.<\/p>\n
Requirements:<\/p>\n
\tStrong accounting background with proven experience.
\n\tExcellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
\n\tAbility to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
\n\tHigh attention to detail and strong analytical abilities.
\n\tKnowledge of relevant legislation and compliance requirements<\/p>\n
