What will you bring<\/p>\n
\tPrior experience (3-5 years) in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A).
\n\tExperience with the SAP ERP system.
\n\tStrong understanding of budgeting and variance analysis reporting.
\n\tBCom degree or equivalent.
\n\tCIMA qualification would be advantageous
\n\tFive years hands on operational finance experience in Facilities management \/ manufacturing \/ project \/ contract-based environment<\/p>\n
What will you be doing<\/p>\n
Client Billing\/Invoicing<\/p>\n
\tFollow up on outstanding invoices
\n\tAnalyze the various billing templates\/schedules from FM
\n\tSend statement (monthly) to debtors
\n\tEnsure that billing is in line with contract\/S1<\/p>\n
\u00a0Debtors Management<\/p>\n
\tFollow up on outstanding invoices (Not Paid)
\n\tProvide weekly feedback to debtor\u2019s controller
\n\tAllocate payments to invoices on SAP
\n\tProcess Withholding Tax certificates
\n\tClearing of debtors\u2019 accounts<\/p>\n
Purchase Order Management<\/p>\n
\tRun Open purchase order report regularly
\n\tCheck for long outstanding purchase orders
\n\tNotify FM of any necessary deletions
\n\tEnsure supplier has sufficient funds available on all PO\u2019s issued<\/p>\n
Expense Accruals:<\/p>\n
\tCheck for supplier invoices (expenses) that aren\u2019t GRN\u2019d
\n\tCheck with FM on site regarding lack of GRN\u2019ing
\n\tGather valid supporting material for accrual
\n\tRaise accrual
\n\tAnalysis and recover credit card spend and\/or travel spend
\n\tCompare O1 to S1 to P&L to ensure prevention of revenue leakage<\/p>\n
Income Accruals<\/p>\n
\tCheck with FM on site regarding lack of GRN\u2019ing \u2013
\n\tGather valid supporting material for accrual \u2013
\n\tRaise accrual<\/p>\n
Payroll<\/p>\n
\tConsult business unit head regarding bonuses
\n\tSet provisions for bonuses monthly
\n\tEnsure correctness of employee salaries
\n\tEnsure that salary recoveries are done<\/p>\n
Balance Sheet Reconciliations<\/p>\n
\tPrepared and reconciled on a monthly basis.
\n\tReconciling items are cleared timeously.
\n\tRelevant supporting documentation forms part of the reconciliations<\/p>\n
Income Statement Management<\/p>\n
\tPrepare monthly financial analysis and timeously resolve issues.
\n\tGive comments and gather supporting documents on any material variances<\/p>\n
External Audit<\/p>\n
\tSubmit requested audit sample supporting documents timeously to the auditors.
\n\tAddress audit queries timeously.
\n\tPrepare audit files in preparation for external audit.<\/p>\n
Financial Analysis and Planning<\/p>\n
\tPreparation of respective client budgets on an annual basis.
\n\tQuarterly preparation of updated client account forecasts
\n\tPerform variance analysis on client P&L account on a monthly basis.
\n\tPrepare and present financial analysis to respective Business Unit Lead on a regular basis<\/p>\n
Month end close<\/p>\n
\tEnsure respective client accounts are closed timeously and accurately.
\n\tPerform variance analysis and clear out issues.
\n\tAll month end checklists are completed and submitted for review timeously.
\n\tP&L is prepared, reviewed and signed off before the finalization of results.<\/p>\n
