The Intelligent Debt Management (IDM) Group, South Africa\u2019s largest and multi-award winning debt management company, has a position available for a Data Analyst.
\n\tThis individual will join the Business Intelligence Team and will be accountable for mostly (but not limited to only) data analytics and reporting.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
Candidates must be able to demonstrate: \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tA university degree; preferably in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, Informatics or Information Systems, Data Engineering or Operational Research.
\n\tAt least two years experience working as a Data Analyst or in a similar role e.g. Business Intelligence Analyst, SQL Developer, Insights Analyst etc.
\n\tIntermediate to advanced knowledge of SQL.
\n\tProven ability to develop reports and dashboards using presentation tools such as Power BI (preferred), Tableau or Looker.
\n\tExperience using Microsoft Fabric would be an advantage.
\n\tOutstanding analytical and conceptual skills and the ability to problem solve in complex environments.
\n\tThe ability to work in a dynamic team environment as well as the capability to work independently, whilst taking responsibility as an individual.<\/p>\n
\u00a0Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tRegular and ad-hoc analysis of complex data sources to answer important business questions.
\n\tBuild reports to supercharge the multiple business areas and allow for effective and efficient decision making and business management.
\n\tCollaborate with the IDM data community to maximise the value that can be derived from the data platforms and data assets that have been built.
\n\tIdentify opportunities that are available to the various businesses areas to improve their performance and help them meet their KPI\u2019s.<\/p>\n
