Minimum Requirements:<\/p>\n
\tBCom Accounting degree or equivalent qualification
\n\tCompleted SAIPA or SAICA articles (signed off)
\n\tMinimum of 3\u20135 years\u2019 relevant accounting experience
\n\tStrong knowledge of financial reconciliations, VAT, and auditing processes.
\n\tAdvanced Excel skills and experience with financial systems.
\n\tExcellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Afrikaans
\n\tAbility to travel to branches when required. (Sleep out \u00b1 1 week in a month, if required) (Upington, Northern Cape)
\n\tValid Driver\u2019s License and own reliable vehicle<\/p>\n
Duties & Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tAccounting duties.
\n\tPrepare and capture Standard Monthly Journal.
\n\tMaintain asset registers.
\n\tPrepare and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
\n\tPrepare and review stock sheets and investigate variances.
\n\tAttend and oversee monthly stock takes.
\n\tPrepare and submit flash results and VAT reconciliations monthly.
\n\tAssist with annual budgets and year-end processes.
\n\tConduct workshops for Admin staff in branches.
\n\tEnsure compliance with statutory requirements and internal controls.
\n\tConduct auditing and reporting on specific controls with support from accountants.
\n\tConduct management review meetings (ratios, comparisons).
\n\tEnsure compliance with internal audit control programmes at branches.
\n\tRelease of EFTs.<\/p>\n
