\tHello\u2026an exciting new opportunity has just become available in our Hollard International, Hollard Health IT area. We are looking to recruit 3x IT Graduates (12 Months Contract).\u00a0
\n\tThe focus of the role is to understand the business, and to be the change agent, who gets all the needed changes, documents them, gets them to IT, and makes sure they are implemented correctly. This person will grow in their role and gain a fundamental understanding of the various aspects of the business, in all disciplines including technology, finance, and underwriting.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tGenerally, learning how the business works.
\n\tAct as liaison between users and developers.
\n\tGathering, understanding, and documenting requirements.
\n\tFunctional Testing of releases against success factors and requirements.
\n\tRelease management of deployments.
\n\tSystem Documentation management.
\n\tUser request evaluations.
\n\tProject reporting and status tracking.
\n\tGain knowledge and develop skills in one or more of the following: Database Development. Database administration, Application Development, IT and Cyber Security, IT Operations, and release management.<\/p>\n
Required Knowledge and Experience\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tTertiary institute practical work projects that showcase an understanding of technology and business operations.<\/p>\n
Technical skills:<\/p>\n
\tBusiness Writing Skills.
\n\tPresentation and Facilitation Skills.
\n\tUnderstanding of business operations tracking and monitoring.
\n\tUnderstanding of General IT operations and principles.
\n\tExposure to one or more of the following: Database Development. Database administration, Application Development, IT and Cyber Security, IT Operations, and release management.<\/p>\n
Behavioural Skills:<\/p>\n
\tEagerness to learn.
\n\tCustomer and User-Centric.
\n\tInterest and Understanding of Insurance and Financial Business Processes.

Educational Requirements\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tTertiary IT or Computer Sciences degree from an industry-recognised University.<\/p>\n
