Key Purpose<\/p>\n
\tThe Investment Marketing Consultant is a member of a high\u2011performance marketing team that partners with Discovery Invest to deliver integrated marketing and digital solutions in support of investment, retirement and wealth\u2011building propositions.
\n\tThe Marketing Consultant will take ownership of marketing initiatives end\u2011to\u2011end, applying marketing and digital best practice, exercising sound judgement, and leveraging internal and agency relationships to deliver high\u2011quality outcomes within a regulated environment.<\/p>\n
Key responsibilities<\/p>\n
Marketing delivery & execution<\/p>\n
\tOwn and deliver integrated marketing campaigns aligned to Discovery Invest\u2019s business objectives, taking accountability for quality, timelines and delivery across all touchpoints.
\n\tManage multiple marketing initiatives concurrently, ensuring delivery within scope, budget and timelines.
\n\tApply Discovery\u2019s marketing model consistently across channels, products and audiences.<\/p>\n
Stakeholder partnership<\/p>\n
\tPartner closely with investment product, distribution, adviser, legal and compliance teams to understand business needs and translate them into effective marketing solutions.
\n\tBuild and maintain strong working relationships with senior and technical stakeholders.
\n\tAct as a trusted marketing advisor within the Invest environment, providing considered input and recommendations to support effective decision\u2011making.<\/p>\n
Content, communication & journeys<\/p>\n
\tTranslate complex investment, retirement and wealth concepts into clear, audience\u2011appropriate communication.
\n\tContribute to the design and optimisation of intuitive, client\u2011centric journeys across digital platforms.
\n\tCreate, maintain and coordinate marketing collateral across channels, with particular ownership of non\u2011social digital platforms (including websites, adviser tools and digital journeys), ensuring accuracy, consistency and ongoing optimisation.<\/p>\n

Education & experience<\/p>\n
Qualifications<\/p>\n
\tMinimum 3\u2011year undergraduate degree in Marketing, Communications, Finance, Investments, Economics or a related commercial discipline.
\n\tPostgraduate qualifications or professional certifications in investments, finance or wealth management (e.g. CFP\u00ae, CFA\u00ae Level I) would be advantageous.<\/p>\n
Experience<\/p>\n
\t3+ years\u2019 experience in a marketing role, preferably within financial services, investments, retirement or wealth management.
\n\tExperience supporting integrated marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels.
\n\tExposure to working with complex products or technical subject matter.
\n\tAbility to execute effectively under guidance within a regulated environment.
