Purpose of the Role<\/p>\n
\tWe are currently seeking an experienced and talented Fleet Mechanic to join our dynamic team. In this position, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing all company vehicles (Diesel and Petrol).
\n\tTo succeed in this role, you should be physically and mentally fit and have a solid knowledge of basic mechanic\u2019s tools, service, and diagnostic equipment. Our ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, with excellent communication and customer service skills.<\/p>\n
Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tPerform maintenance and repair on Company vehicles.
\n\tIdentify problems with vehicles using the diagnostic equipment.
\n\tExplain automotive repairs and issues and provide great service.
\n\tPlan repair procedures using charts manuals and experience.
\n\tTest the functionality of parts and systems
\n\tPerform basic auto care and maintenance tasks such as oil changes, fluid level checks, and tire rotation.
\n\tRepair and replace brake pads, wheel bearings, sensors, and other parts.
\n\tPerform routine maintenance and general mechanic work on vehicles.
\n\tWillingness to learn with hands-on training.
\n\tHelp keep repair shop clean and organized.
\n\tKeep a professional appearance.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
\tAutomotive and engine repair experience or auto mechanic training required.
\n\tHold a valid driver license.
\n\tGraduated from an associate degree program in auto maintenance and repair.
\n\tAbility to maintain a professional appearance and provide friendly service.
\n\tMust read, interpret, and transcribe data in order to maintain accurate records.
\n\tPerform routine maintenance and other tasks in a fast-paced environment.
\n\tMay lift objects that weigh as much as 50 lbs.<\/p>\n
