Strategic Direction and Alignment<\/p>\n
\tContribute to the development of the IT functional strategy and objectives in line with the TCTA Strategy.
\n\tDevelop and implement Applications and Infrastructure strategies.
\n\tContribute to the development of the IT functional operational plans and KPI\u2019s in support of the function\u2019s strategy and the TCTA\u2019s overall strategy.
\n\tAssist in driving the implementation of the IT functional strategy, plans and procedures to compliment and support the TCTA Strategy.<\/p>\n
Operational Leadership and Process Management<\/p>\n
\tProvide leadership regarding all the operations of the department from an overall perspective, which includes the provision of ICT Project Management.
\n\tReview, execute, and monitor of the ICT strategy and framework to be aligned with TCTA\u2019s strategic goals, objectives, and departmental operational plan.
\n\tProvide guidance, expertise, and advice to Management on trends, best practice and applicable policies and legislation to the relevant Committees.
\n\tDrive the implementation of plans, policies, processes, practices, procedures, and systems and ensuring sustainability of business<\/p>\n
Application Services<\/p>\n
\tEnsure the Development of the Application Services capability and initiatives in support of the IT Strategy and EA Planning\/Blueprinting processes.
\n\tOversee the Design Process for Application Software.
\n\tEnsure solutions are provided in areas of disaster recovery, data integrity and security.
\n\tRecommend software technologies in areas disaster recovery, data integrity\u00a0and security.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Infrastructure and Operations Services<\/p>\n
\tProvide oversight to the monitoring, controlling, and supporting Infrastructure management by ensuring systems, methodologies and procedures are followed.
\n\tEnsure that client relationships are maintained both internally and externally.
\n\tAttend Infrastructure and operations review meetings covering performance, service improvements, quality, and processes.
\n\tEnsure effective monitoring, control and support of Infrastructure and Operations management services.<\/p>\n
Governance and Reporting<\/p>\n
\tMonitor and report on the Programme management practice development progress against the IT Departmental strategic initiatives.
\n\tMonitor and report on legislative and statutory compliance as defined by government.
\n\tPromote sound institutional governance principles through effective planning, maintenance of operations and service standards, management of compliance and risk and participating in TCTA\u2019s governance structures,
\n\tManage the strategic relationships and networks with internal and external stakeholders.<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements:<\/p>\n
\tEducation:\u00a0Bachelor\u2019s Degree or BTech in Information Technology or related field.<\/p>\n
Relevant Certifications:<\/p>\n
\tMicrosoft Operations Framework (MOF) certified.
\n\tInformation Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certified.<\/p>\n
Experience:<\/p>\n
\tMinimum of\u00a08 years\u2019 experience\u00a0in the ICT environment.
\n\tAt least\u00a05 years\u2019 experience\u00a0in a\u00a0Senior IT Management\u00a0or leadership role.
\n\tMinimum of\u00a03 years\u2019 proven experience\u00a0in\u00a0analysing, implementing, and evaluating IT systems, infrastructure, applications, and cloud environments.<\/p>\n
