SUMMARY OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDED BUT NOT LIMITED TO:<\/p>\n
\tExecute planned maintenance within specified time at a high quality and give feedback to the respective foreman to improve plant availability and reliability.
\n\tPromptly attend to any breakdowns within the shift as and when required.
\n\tManage all maintenance work orders issued to you on time to ensure that weekly and monthly KPIs are met.
\n\tAssists in cost reduction initiatives by reducing waste and improving efficiencies.
\n\tComplete your daily SAP PM work orders on time and give feedback.
\n\tParticipate in Risk Assessments based on external and internal influences. Including in incident investigations as may be required.
\n\tReport any incidents to the supervisor and\/or via the systems in use.
\n\tParticipate in any inspection or audit as may be required.
\n\tEnsure compliance with any instruction given with regards to Occupational Health and Safety, statutory and PPE requirements as per area of work.
\n\tMaintain a high quality of housekeeping.
\n\tAssists in cost reduction initiatives by reducing waste and improving efficiencies.
\n\tWhen required, the incumbent is to work rotational shifts with other Fitter artisans to cover the Refinery business unit.<\/p>\n
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:<\/p>\n
\tMinimum of N3 qualification is required in Mechanical Engineering with a recognised Trade Test certificate as a Fitter.
\n\tAt least 2 years experience post apprenticeship.
\n\tTertiary qualification and\/or second Trade Test (Millwright) will be advantageous.
\n\tMinimum of 2 years working experience within a Refinery or smelter environment.<\/p>\n
