Please note: This role is fully on-site (5 days per week in our Cape Town office), working 9am\u20136pm, with some flexibility required on occasion to support US\u2011based hours.<\/p>\n
\tTo establish a strategic partnership with the operation and ensure that people practices are aligned with operational practices to yield optimal performance.<\/p>\n
Role Profile: <\/p>\n
Industrial\/Employee Relations:<\/p>\n
\tTo provide advisory in relation to misconduct, operational requirements, incapacities, grievances, and dispute resolution.
\n\tTo facilitate\/cheer all matters relating to misconduct, incapacity, operational requirements , grievances, and disputes.
\n\tMitigate and defend Industrial relations risk at the CCMA.
\n\tActively identifies gaps, proposes, and implements changes within contractual frame works and organisational policies.
\n\tDriving Employment Equity and ensuring adherence to policies.
\n\tTo ensure compliance to legal, business and client requirements.<\/p>\n
Performance Improvement: <\/p>\n
\tWork closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
\n\tPromotes performance management and calibration sessions.
\n\tProposes changes for continuous improvement.
\n\tIdentifies poor performers and implements measurable change to yield positive outcomes.<\/p>\n
Engagement:<\/p>\n
\tActs as a single point of the contact for the employees and managers in the business unit.
\n\tProactively supports the delivery of People Processes.
\n\tWeekly meetings with stakeholders to conduct a needs analysis and provide feedback on People actions
\n\tAnalyses client feedback and processes and use this feedback to ensure service enhancements.
\n\tEngages with management team and pro-actively, responds to queries promptly and ensures that opportunities for improvements are actioned and measured.
\n\tPerforms a support role for the business by ensuring collaboration and pro-active communication between departments.
\n\tPresentation of MBR and suggestions about change management
\n\tTo provide meaningful reporting to facilitate business decisions.<\/p>\n
Absence Management\/Attrition:<\/p>\n
\tReviewing exit information and driving positive change.
\n\tPerforming stay interviews.
\n\tIdentifying proactive measures reduce and mitigate attrition.
\n\tFacilitate employee ambassador sessions and collaborate with respective departments to yield positive change.<\/p>\n
Reporting:<\/p>\n
\tWork closely with all stake holders to understand reporting requirements and compiling necessary reports to impact positive change.<\/p>\n
Design & Delivery<\/p>\n
\tLiaising with the People Projects Partner and other stake holders to timeously contribute to the successful delivery and completion of people and business-related projects<\/p>\n
Experience\/Qualifications<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12 or equivalent NQF level qualification
\n\tTertiary qualification or equivalent NQF qualification
\n\t5-7 years\u2019 experience in a Human Resources or Management role
\n\tPrevious experience in a call centre advantageous
\n\tStrong MS Excel and PowerPoint skills<\/p>\n
