Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tPlaning and scheduling the production process
\n\tManage all aspects of production: briefing, costing, booking in of approvals, setting up work in progress meetings, final approvals, sending out purchase orders and finally reconning the job, all in a timeous and effective manner.
\n\tMaintain communication with necessary creative, client service & production teams to facilitate workflow
\n\tMust feel comfortable being client facing
\n\tIdentifies potential legal issues and interfaces with Head of Production to resolve issues
\n\tResponsible for negotiation, generation and managing all aspects of schedules and budgets
\n\tPresent production budgets and schedules and address production-related questions both internally and with the client
\n\tSource the best postproduction partners for each job if necessary
\n\tBuild and maintain relationships with third party production suppliers
\n\tNegotiate competitive pricing\/scheduling
\n\tKeep abreast of current industry and technological trends
\n\tFosters innovative solutions
\n\tEnsures adherence to the highest industry standards
\n\tAccountable for maintaining relationships, client satisfaction and management of expectations while ensuring that the work is on strategy, on time and within budget and that projects are actualized, well documented, archived and closed
\n\tEnsure that all materials arrive at their destination on time, including final masters for trafficking
\n\tCultivate strong relationships with all internal departments and industry partners
\n\tProvide general and admin support to the Head of Agency production
\n\tMust be able to run multiple projects: radio, animation, broadcast (shoot) and content productions<\/p>\n

\tRelevant tertiary qualification
\n\t8 or more years\u2019 experience as a Broadcast Producer in an advertising agency, or production house
\n\tKnowledge of content & commercial postproduction and scheduling processes
\n\tExperience in managing television, digital content & postproduction timelines
\n\tExperience producing web content & mobile content will be advantageous
\n\tStrong understanding and knowledge of production process from conception and negotiation through traffic
\n\tTechnical understanding of post-production, broadcast and digital deliverables
\n\tUnderstanding and negotiating music rights
\n\tUnderstanding on-camera renewals
\n\tExcellent presentation skills
\n\tExcellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
\n\tExcellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
\n\tImpeccible admin skills
\n\tStrong client relationship building skills
\n\tStrong negotiation and problem-solving skills
\n\tAbility to work independently and within a team
