Description<\/p>\n
\tConduct inspections of all new aircraft records and new major module records entering the fleet;
\n\tConduct record review inspections in line with lease contracts and company requirements;
\n\tCompile and control ‘Open Item Listings’ required for effective communication to lessors on any discrepancies noted on new aircraft;
\n\tCommunicate outstanding items back to Legal and\/or Asset Management departments during technical acceptance of new aircrafts or major modules;
\n\tConduct offsite visits for aircrafts being inducted to review physical records and inspect the condition of aircrafts when required;
\n\tSupport the compliance department with Certificate of Airworthiness inspection preparation for inducting aircrafts;
\n\tCoordinate effective lease return of major modules inclusive of aircraft and or engines;
\n\tLiaise with maintenance planners to coordinate tasks or check requirements for inductions or lease returns;
\n\tLiaise with records administrators to coordinate physical record requirements;
\n\tCoordinate annual lessor inspections and inform maintenance planners of any info required for operational aircrafts;
\n\tLiaise with the planning section to schedule inductions or deliveries;
\n\tCoordinate the compilation and distribution of work orders to MRO;
\n\tEnsure that all documentation issued is current. Inform asset management on requirements during the lease return process;
\n\tAssist with capturing ATLR’s and component movements from ATLR’s for aircrafts joining the fleet when required;
\n\tAssist with closing work orders from MRO when maintenance is completed;
\n\tUpdate logbooks for aircraft and major modules, entering and leaving the fleet;
\n\tReview completed work orders for accuracy;
\n\tAssist with capturing work order data from MRO. Assist with component movement from MRO work orders;
\n\tAssist with issuing of (CRS) Certificate of Release to service and or CRMA (Certificate Related to maintenance of an Aircraft) documents after maintenance is completed;
\n\tCreate ad-hoc work orders;
\n\tEnsure that all AD’s, SB I s, EO’s and ASB are complied with;
\n\tMaintain knowledge of relevant regulations, policies and guidelines;
\n\tProvide expert advice when required;
\n\tAdhere to statutory regulations, organisational standards, policies and procedures;
\n\tReport non-compliance and implement corrective actions to ensure compliance;
\n\tAnalyse Stakeholder needs and identify improvement initiatives;
\n\tMaintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to foster meaningful interactions;
\n\tEncourage, promote, and embody a spirit of teamwork;
\n\tAssess and optimise the performance of direct reports;
\n\tProvide specialised insights to direct reports;
\n\tGuide, support and develop direct reports.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12 or equivalent;
\n\tTechnical Diploma (Advantageous);
\n\tType rating on aircrafts operated by Fly Safair (Advantageous); Certificate in maintenance planning (Advantageous);
\n\t8-12 years of aircraft planning or records experience in a mid-size organisation (Essential);
\n\tExperience working on B737 aircraft type (Advantageous);
\n\tWilling to travel domestic and international
\n\tWilling to work overtime<\/p>\n
