Key Accountabilities:<\/p>\n
Show Production and Audio Management:\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tProduce all show promos, imaging, replays, and audio elements for assigned shows.
\n\tEnsure all produced content aligns with station sound and presenter identity.
\n\tManage and deliver daily production requirements across two shows.
\n\tCapture and edit listener voices and interviews for on-air and promotional use.<\/p>\n
Workflow and Output Management:<\/p>\n
\tManage workload across both shows to meet deadlines and maintain consistency.
\n\tLog and track all production using internal systems (Tracker portal + tally sheet).
\n\tEnsure all content is approved by the Producer before flight.
\n\tDeliver within tight turnaround times while maintaining quality.
\n\tArrive hour before show to prep<\/p>\n
Desk Operations and OB Support:\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tOperate the technical desk during live broadcasts where required.
\n\tRun desk for Outside Broadcasts (OBs), ensuring clean execution and broadcast quality.
\n\tTroubleshoot minor technical issues and escalate where necessary.<\/p>\n
Archiving and Administration:\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tArchive all final approved audio to the Production Cloud (ECR Tech Producer Archive).
\n\tMaintain clean and organized audio systems (Zetta\/Colony or equivalent).
\n\tEnsure all production work is documented and accessible<\/p>\n
Collaboration:<\/p>\n
\tWork closely with Producers to execute show vision and meet content objectives.
\n\tCommunicate proactively on deadlines, challenges, and production needs.
\n\tContribute to overall production quality and team efficiency.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
Qualification Requirements:\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12\/ Matric
\n\tDiploma or Degree in Sound Engineering<\/p>\n
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Requirements:\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tProtool\/DAW Proficiency
\n\tMicrosoft Office

\n\tAudio editing
