Purpose<\/p>\n
\tTo provide an effective first line response capability in security emergencies within the South African Bank Note Company.<\/p>\n
Main Responsibilities (not limited to):<\/p>\n
\tRapidly respond to and contain physical security threats within the perimeter of the National Key Point.
\n\tContain the emergency situation & physical security threat, handover situation to the SAPS and Emergency Services.
\n\tProvide tactical security support to the broader SARB Group as and when required, including during disasters.
\n\tPerform duties of a security official in the absence of an emergency.
\n\tProvide initial medical assistance in the event of a medical emergency.
\n\tProvide management information for the purposes of decision making.
\n\tProactively broaden knowledge of own functional area, displaying a willingness to make improvements (including methods and practices).<\/p>\n
The Preferred candidate is likely to have:<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12
\n\tBasic Tactical Security Training Certificate (BTST)
\n\tPSIRA Grade C
\n\tFirearm competency certificate
\n\tNational Key Point Registration (Added advantage)
\n\t3-5 years\u2019 experience in security industry
\n\tLevel of medical, physical and psychological fitness that is commensurate with the inherent requirements of the role
\n\tFavourable security clearance
\n\tValid Code 8 driver\u2019s license<\/p>\n

\n\tEmergency reaction\/response
\n\tCrime scene management
\n\tAdvanced fire arm handling and tactical applications

\n\tSurveillance and observation skills<\/p>\n
