This role is key to ensuring strong financial performance, sound governance, and efficient store administration across the region.<br \/>\n\tBased in Centurion, Gauteng, you will oversee all Medirite Plus stores across Gauteng, North West, Limpopo, and Mpumalanga, working closely with store leadership to deliver consistent, high-performing operations.<br \/>\n\tAs a trusted business partner, you will translate data into actionable insights, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement solutions that enhance efficiency, reduce risk, and optimise profitability. If you enjoy solving problems, influencing outcomes, and making a measurable impact across multiple stores, this role is for you.<\/p>\n<p>Job Objectives\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Financial Performance Management<\/p>\n<p>\tDevelop and manage store budgets across the region.<br \/>\n\tConduct profit and loss (P&amp;L) analysis and implement corrective actions where required.<br \/>\n\tCommunicate financial performance insights to branch management and ensure execution of improvement plans.<br \/>\n\tProvide regular P&amp;L reporting to branches.<br \/>\n\tDeliver feedback to management on overall business health, highlighting strong performance areas and addressing underperformance with actionable solutions.<br \/>\n\tMonitor controllable expenses and take corrective action to address variances.<\/p>\n<p>Audit Compliance and Governance<\/p>\n<p>\tConduct regular branch audits across the region.<\/p>\n<p>Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including:<\/p>\n<p>\tReceiving processes<br \/>\n\tCash office controls<br \/>\n\tPricing accuracy<br \/>\n\tStock control<br \/>\n\tSecurity procedures<br \/>\n\tEnsure branch filing systems are maintained in line with company standards.<br \/>\n\tVerify merchandising standards and pricing accuracy in stores.<\/p>\n<p>Risk and Safety Management<\/p>\n<p>\tInvestigate incidents, including potential fraud and operational risks.<br \/>\n\tManage and resolve IT-related incidents impacting store operations.<br \/>\n\tHandle and follow up on insurance claims.<br \/>\n\tEnsure compliance with all health and safety legislation and company requirements.<\/p>\n<p>Stock Ledger and Inventory Control<\/p>\n<p>\tPlan and schedule stock takes across the region.<br \/>\n\tPrepare for and oversee stock take processes.<br \/>\n\tReview and validate stock reconciliation accuracy.<br \/>\n\tAnalyse stock take results and implement corrective actions where required.<br \/>\n\tProvide training to stores on stock ledger processes and best practices.<br \/>\n\tMonitor and analyse stock-related reports to identify trends and discrepancies.<br \/>\n\tInvestigate and resolve out-of-line stock situations.<br \/>\n\tEnsure effective management and control of markdowns.<\/p>\n<p>People Management and Development<\/p>\n<p>\tProvide on-the-job training, coaching, and continuous development support to store teams.<br \/>\n\tMonitor training progress and ensure completion of required learning programmes (eLearning, coaching, supplier product knowledge).<br \/>\n\tCollaborate with the Training Department to address identified development needs.<br \/>\n\tEnsure adherence to company standards for employee presentation (uniforms, name badges, etc.).<br \/>\n\tDrive and maintain company standards through structured action plans in collaboration with the branch manager.<\/p>\n<p>Reporting and Operational Oversight<\/p>\n<p>\tCompile and present monthly and quarterly audit reports to management, including insights, action plans, timelines, and accountability.<br \/>\n\tGenerate and distribute daily store management reports.<br \/>\n\tEngage with branch managers on a daily basis to address and resolve out-of-line performance areas.<\/p>\n<p>Qualifications\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Education<\/p>\n<p>\tGrade 12 (essential)<br \/>\n\tBusiness Admin Certificate\/diploma (desirable)<\/p>\n<p>Other<\/p>\n<p>\tValid Drivers licence.<\/p>\n<p>Experience\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Essential:<\/p>\n<p>\t3\u20135 years\u2019 experience in a managerial role within retail operations (FMCG \/ Health &amp; Beauty \/ Pharmacy retail environment preferred).<\/p>\n<p>Desirable:<\/p>\n<p>\tExperience in a multi-store or regional role.<br \/>\n\tExperience within a health &amp; beauty \/ pharmacy retail environment.<br \/>\n\tExperience supporting new store openings or store turnarounds.<\/p>\n<p>Knowledge and Skills\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Commercial &amp; Financial<\/p>\n<p>\tStrong P&amp;L management, budgeting, and cost control.<br \/>\n\tSolid understanding of retail KPIs (sales, GP, shrinkage, stock turn).<br \/>\n\tAbility to analyse data and drive actionable insights.<\/p>\n<p>Operations &amp; Stock Control<\/p>\n<p>\tStrong stock management, stock takes, and reconciliation experience.<br \/>\n\tUnderstanding of merchandising, pricing, and store operations.<br \/>\n\tAbility to drive consistency and operational excellence across stores.<\/p>\n<p>Risk &amp; Compliance<\/p>\n<p>\tKnowledge of retail audits, compliance, and internal controls.<br \/>\n\tExperience in shrinkage, loss prevention, and risk management.<br \/>\n\tUnderstanding of health &amp; safety requirements.<\/p>\n<p>Systems &amp;
