\tTo source and secure new HNW individual Personal Insurance customers.
\n\tThe role will require a face to face interaction with high net worth customer market which always requires professional conduct.
\n\tProviding a comprehensive array of customised Insurance solutions tailored to meet these customer\u2019s needs.
\n\tOffer continuous, close, professional and personal attention service to newly acquired and existing customers by assisting and administering the customer\u2019s policy.
\n\tEnsure all short-term insurance needs in terms of assisting with claims, cover required, and annual renewal of the policy is provided to the customer on a personal, professional and efficient manner.\u00a0\u00a0
\n\tAlways ensure an excellent customer experience and ensure the six Treating Customer Fairly outcomes dictate behaviour, engagement action and advice given to customer. \u00a0\u00a0
\n\tThe position will require frequent travelling to meet with existing and potential clients and be able to works independently in the absence of supervision \/ assistance.
\n\tWhen required, visits, delivers (and\/or collects) documents and relevant information from HNW customers\u2019 homes or offices at the convenience of the customer.<\/p>\n
Qualifications<\/p>\n
Type of Qualification:\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tMinimum qualification \u2013 Grade 12\/Matric Certificate
\n\tFull Qualification as recognised by the Registrar
\n\tFit and Proper – FSCA
\n\tHigher Certificate Short-term Insurance
\n\tRelevant business-related tertiary qualification e.g. BA degree\/qualification is an advantage
\n\tUndergraduate degree, or similar [majors in Risk, Finance, Insurance an advantage] and\/or
\n\tPostgraduate or professional qualification in risk and relevant experience an advantage
\n\tBe prepared to write KI examination should this be required
\n\tMust have passed FAIS exams min 60 credits \u2013 qualification and experience as determined by \u201cFit and Proper Requirements\u201d of the FAIS legislation.<\/p>\n
Experience Required<\/p>\n
\tExperience as determined by FAIS legislation. A minimum of 5 years previous working experience in a personal short-term insurance (commercial experience would be an advantage) either as a Servicing\/Sales Agent, Broker or Insurer. Bancassurance experience preferable.
\n\tSound knowledge of personal insurance offering, procedures and products.
\n\tA good working knowledge of FAIS and FICA legislation.
\n\tMaven system knowledge would be advantageous
\n\tSales and negotiation skills.
\n\tExcellent verbal and written communication skills
\n\tPrevious portfolio Insurance relationship management experience (5 years in total) as an Account Executive\/Insurance Manager managing a portfolio of HNW customers in the personal short-term insurance environment is preferable.
\n\tA minimum of 5 years previous working experience in Short term insurance. Preferable in a sales, servicing, personal portfolio management position. Practical exposure to banking principles and to establish credible relationships.<\/p>\n
