This role will support Central Johannesburg, West Rand and Vaal Triangle distribution partners and clients.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Key Outcomes<\/p>\n<p>The following outcomes will be expected to be achieved by the Business Development Manager:<\/p>\n<p>Business &amp; Portfolio Growth<\/p>\n<p>\tAttract new business and increase retention of existing investment flows.<br \/>\n\tSource, onboard, and activate new Intermediaries for Glacier.<br \/>\n\tAchieve profitable annual sales volumes and meet monthly targets by actively managing an Intermediary portfolio.<br \/>\n\tGrow regional business via Independent Financial Intermediaries and Sanlam Connect (sales, training, marketing, and client services).<\/p>\n<p>Intermediary Support &amp; Enablement<\/p>\n<p>\tImplement a structured Intermediary support model to ensure effective collaboration between the Channel, the Intermediary, and Sanlam Group product providers.<br \/>\n\tProvide accurate investment, product, fund, service, and investor information.<br \/>\n\tTrain and upskill Intermediaries and their support staff to improve advice capability and practice sustainability.<br \/>\n\tEquip Intermediaries with technology, reporting tools, and business development insights to support profitable practices.<br \/>\n\tDrive the adoption and effective use of Glacier\u2019s digital platforms and tools (Web Hub, Investment Hub, etc.).<\/p>\n<p>Stakeholder Engagement &amp; Internal Collaboration<\/p>\n<p>\tSupport investment campaigns and marketing initiatives.<br \/>\n\tContribute to product implementation through presentations, insights, and client service support.<br \/>\n\tManage the Business Development Coordinator.<br \/>\n\tMaintain and coordinate Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with internal and external stakeholders.<\/p>\n<p>Compliance &amp; Governance<\/p>\n<p>\tEnsure full adherence to regulatory requirements including FAIS and FICA.<br \/>\n\tPromote ethical, compliant, and professional conduct at all times.<\/p>\n<p>Qualifications and Experience<\/p>\n<p>\tRelevant financial\/investment tertiary qualification. Document these findings.<br \/>\n\tConduct a financial needs analysis, using the relevant e-tools \/ instruments or systems, to ascertain the clients full financial situation; or utilise the services of a Para-Planner for this.
