Key Performance Areas would include, but are not limited to:<\/p>\n
\tAdhere to all safety procedures and policies.
\n\tEnsure machines are maintained to best practice standards including safety (machine safe to use).
\n\tEnsure proper disposal of consumables and materials.
\n\tEnsure good food safe practices when performing maintenance.
\n\tEnsure that problem-solving is done to best practice standards in of support higher-level problem-solving efforts, as required.
\n\tPrompt reaction time to breakdowns and other requests.
\n\tAssist with shutdown planning as per shutdown best practice.
\n\tEnsure spares are in place for preventive maintenance activities.
\n\tProactive risk\/hazard identification and mitigation).
\n\tProvide technical expertise and guidance to process teams – operating procedures, fault finding, etc.
\n\tMonitor and control quality practices in a manufacturing \/ cellar \/ engineering environment.
\n\tInnovation and business improvements in support of operational and segment goals.
\n\tImplemented initiatives of business plans.
\n\tAssisting with installation of new equipment, projects, and improvements.
\n\tEnsuring that administration is attended to timeously and as per best practice.
\n\tComply with Heineken Beverages standard operating practices.
\n\tExcellent housekeeping.
\n\tPerform mechanical and electrical preventative maintenance and repairs, to production machinery, utilities, and facilities, timeously and according to specification. (e.g., lighting, boilers, compressors, crossflows, heat exchangers, crushers, pumps, electrical motors, control panels, distribution boards, etc.)
\n\tPerform welding activities.<\/p>\n
The successful candidate must preferably have the following experience \/ skills:<\/p>\n
\tMinimum N3 must be a trade tested millwright
\n\tMinimum 3 years working experience as an artisan in a cellar and utilities environment.
\n\tReading and understanding of electrical drawings.
\n\tGood knowledge of electrical reticulation in a plant environment.
\n\tGood knowledge of equipment used in wine cellars and utilities is a distinct advantage
\n\tAbility to do in depth problem solving and fault finding (mechanical and electrical).
\n\tCompetent in argon and arc welding.
\n\tPerform milling and turning activities will be advantageous
\n\tMust be self-motivated, innovative, and able to work without supervision.
\n\tAble to work and make decisions under pressure.
\n\tGood communication skills on all levels.
\n\tActive involvement in mini-business activities.
\n\tAble to work within a team.
\n\tWilling and able to work overtime and flexible hours.
\n\tPerform standby duties.
\n\tHave own reliable transport<\/p>\n
