\tTo lead, oversee, and strategically direct the delivery of forensic investigations and related services, ensuring exceptional quality, efficiency, and client value. The Senior Manager plays a critical leadership role in driving complex engagements, managing high-performing teams, strengthening client relationships, and contributing to the growth, innovation, and overall success of the forensic division.<\/p>\n
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES<\/p>\n
\tLead and oversee complex forensic investigations, ensuring high-quality delivery from planning through to final reporting.
\n\tProvide strategic direction on engagements, including scoping, risk identification, and investigative approach.
\n\tReview and sign off on reports, ensuring accuracy, quality, and defensibility of findings.
\n\tIdentify key risks, fraud indicators, and critical evidence, providing expert insight and guidance.
\n\tServe as the primary point of contact for senior client stakeholders, maintaining strong and trusted relationships.
\n\tDeliver strategic, value-adding recommendations and insights based on investigative outcomes.
\n\tOversee the full project lifecycle \u2014 including budgeting, timelines, resource planning, and governance.
\n\tLead, mentor, and develop Managers and junior staff, fostering a high-performance and learning culture.
\n\tDrive business development initiatives, including client acquisition, proposal development, and market positioning.
\n\tEnsure optimal team utilization and operational efficiency across engagements.
\n\tPromote innovation, continuous improvement, and adherence to best practice methodologies and quality standards.
\n\tContribute to thought leadership and the strategic direction of the forensic practice.<\/p>\n
Qualifications\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tMust be a registered CA (SA)
\n\tBCom in Forensic Accounting \/ BCom Accounting \/ BCom Law\u00a0
\n\tCertified Fraud Examiner (CFE) or similar professional certification is advantageous\u00a0<\/p>\n
Experience\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tMinimum 7\u201310 years of experience in forensic investigations, with exposure to both public and private sector engagements
\n\tProven experience managing complex investigations and leading multiple teams\/projects
\n\tStrong background in fraud risk management, probity audits, and regulatory\/compliance reviews
\n\tEnd-to-end investigation experience \u2014 from planning and execution to reporting and litigation\/court support
\n\tDemonstrated experience in client engagement, stakeholder management, and business development
\n\tProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and forensic tools\/software
\n\t\u00a0<\/p>\n
