Role overview:<\/p>\n
\tAs a Visual Merchandiser, your primary role is to enhance the Weylandts shopping experience by maintaining a beautifully curated, organized, and welcoming store environment. You will report to the Retail Manager while working closely with the Head Office Visual Merchandising team to execute the brand vision on the showroom floor.<\/p>\n
Key responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tExecute and maintain the merchandising plan within set timeframes for ongoing installations and dressing, working with the store\u2019s basement team. This will include lifting and carrying items (etc).
\n\tConduct daily floor walks to ensure high standards of store presentation and housekeeping in collaboration with the Retail Manager and showroom employees.
\n\tImplement monthly merchandising campaigns in line with company design directives.
\n\tMaintain a high standard of visual merchandising in line with the company\u2019s vision and brand aesthetic and upload its identity.
\n\tProactively replenish products to ensure the store remains well-stocked and appealing.
\n\tCapture and submit photographs of displays and shelving to the HO VM team on schedule.
\n\tRegularly update and maintain display settings and homeware shelving in line with store layout changes and directives from Head Office VM team.
\n\tProvide professional and helpful assistance to customers, including stepping in to sell when necessary.
\n\tOrder flowers and plants for the store timeously, and within allocated budget and schedule.
\n\tCollaborate with the broader store team and assist colleagues as needed.
\n\tStay informed of new product arrivals and discontinued lines, to plan for this in advance with Head office. Maintain superior product knowledge.
\n\tSupport the receiving, unpacking and checking in of stock when needed.<\/p>\n
\u00a0What you bring:<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12\/Matric
\n\tDiploma or degree in Interior Decorating or related field (preferred)
\n\t3 years\u2019 experience in a similar role and environment\/brand
\n\tProficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
\n\tAbility to read and interpret floor plans
\n\tValid driver\u2019s license and own reliable transport.
\n\tAvailable to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays
\n\tPassionate about d\u00e9cor and Weylandts furniture and homeware products
\n\tCreative flair and an eye for aesthetics
\n\tSolid administrative skills<\/p>\n
