\tPrepare, clean and inspect work areas and equipment
\n\tHandle and stage raw materials
\n\tSample work area(s) and equipment for contamination
\n\tSanitise drains and pipes to avoid contamination

\nResponsibilities<\/p>\n
\u00a0Operational Support<\/p>\n
\tExecute production activities within established policies, practices and guidelines, as well as established quality and safety standards
\n\tOptimise own work processes
\n\tIdentify gaps in current policies and procedures
\n\tFacilitate implementation of processes in own area of work<\/p>\n
Inspections & Verifications<\/p>\n
\tPerform visual inspections of production area(s) and equipment
\n\tPerform pre-production checks such as environmental checks, scale checks, and equipment pre-checks as per BMR, SOP and product specifications
\n\tVerify scale and measuring equipment performance<\/p>\n
Material Handling<\/p>\n
\tDispense, transfer, weigh and collect raw materials for processing
\n\tEnsure raw materials are staged for processing, in line with requirements<\/p>\n
Production Preparation<\/p>\n
\tSet up the room and IBCs for production activities
\n\tPrepare solutions for production activities as per SOP<\/p>\n
Routine Support Tasks<\/p>\n
\tClean work area(s) and equipment before and after processing of materials as per SOP and cleaning checklist
\n\tPerform routine equipment checks and transfer of equipment
\n\tCollect samples of production area and equipment for testing
\n\tControl contamination in area by flushing drains and pipes
\n\tAssist with sorting of defected products and discard\/ minimise waste
\n\tProvide information to assist with campaign preparation
\n\tIdentify and report on operational problems out of specification<\/p>\n
Reporting & Record Keeping<\/p>\n
\tComplete batch record labels
\n\tComplete Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) sheets
\n\tPerform half-hourly inspections of production area(s)
\n\tAttend shift meetings
\n\tProvide information for completion of reports
\n\tComplete and consolidate standard documents
\n\tMaintain and update records and systems as required<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
Background\/experience<\/p>\n
\tNational Certification (N3)\/ Matric\/ National Senior Certificate (NSc)\/ NQF 4 with 0-2 years\u2019 related experience
\n\tManufacturing experience would be an advantage<\/p>\n
Specific job skills<\/p>\n
\tBasic technical knowledge of Pharmaceutical production processes, procedures, systems and equipment.
\n\tBasic understanding of Pharmaceutical standards and compliance requirements\u00a0<\/p>\n
