As a Merchandising Consultant, you will define and execute a technical plan to support assigned product lines, utilizing market analysis to craft assortment and pricing strategy. You will drive the top and bottom line, optimizing all aspects of the portfolio P&L by delivering smart assortment, creating continual channel improvements and delivering the best customer experience.<\/p>\n

\n\tOwning the product strategy for the region and providing feedback to product teams on future requirements
\n\tEngage with key alliance partners and drive regional engagements
\n\tBe the product evangelist for the region and participate in distributor and reseller enablement activities<\/p>\n

Essential Requirements<\/p>\n
\t12+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience
\n\tStrong oral and written communication skills to communicate with sales, finance, marketing, product management and leadership teams
\n\tTechnology acumen – understanding of the PC industry, including key technologies, major competitors, product and industry trends, markets and typical marketing practices, product positioning and other related product and marketing experience
\n\tFinancial acumen – strong understanding of product\/brand P&L’s would be essential
\n\tEffective in influencing cross-functional teams<\/p>\n
Desirable Requirements<\/p>\n
\tEducation background in Business and\/or Marketing; MBA strongly preferred
\n\tAdvanced analytical ability<\/p>\n
