Operational Maintenance Execution (24\/7 Environment)\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tProvide 24\/7 end-to-end troubleshooting of business-critical systems (Payment Systems, Web Services, Integrated Transportation Information Systems, Toll Agencies, customer relation manager (CRM) and SANRAL special projects applications, etc.)\u00a0
\n\tAnalyse application logs, SQL outputs, transaction records, event logs, and configuration settings.
\n\tDiagnose multi-layer failures (frontend, middleware, backend, database, third party integrations). \u00a0
\n\tEscalate high priorities issues with structured evidence to 3rd level Engineers\/ developers. \u00a0
\n\tMonitor failed transaction queues, pending jobs, and stuck processes. \u00a0
\n\tProvide operational oversight to TCH units (VAS, Key Account, Core Account, Toll Agencies) and SANRAL special projects. \u00a0

\tSupporting end-to-end card payment processing, including eCommerce transactions, settlement processing, payment allocation, and error analysis.
\n\tDiagnosing declined or failed payments, including gateway specific error codes, routing issues, validation errors, service unavailability, and integration failures.
\n\tMonitoring payment gateway integrations and escalating anomalies to external vendors and banking partners. \u00a0
\n\tValidating daily settlement files and reconciling discrepancies between front end systems and backend settlement databases. \u00a0
\n\tInvestigating data integrity issues affecting financial transactions. \u00a0
\n\tMonitoring transaction queues for failed, pending, or stuck processes. \u00a0
\n\tProviding impact analysis during payment outages and communicating financial risk exposure to stakeholders.<\/p>\n

\n\tIdentifying incorrect mappings, out-of-sync accounts, and data corruption risks. \u00a0

\tExecute regression testing after deployments or system fixes.
\n\tValidate data flows, web services behaviour, business rules, and integration endpoints.
\n\tLog defects with detailed evidence, including screenshots, logs, and SQL output.<\/p>\n
System Monitoring & Environment Management \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tMonitoring application environments across all SANRAL domains. \u00a0
\n\tPerforming daily health checks on application services, IIS app pools, web services endpoints, authentication services, and configuration services. \u00a0
\n\tRestarting services (IIS, WMSVC, authentication\/configuration services) during incidents or scheduled maintenance. \u00a0
\n\tValidating environment variables, configuration files, connection strings, and integration parameters. \u00a0
\n\tMonitoring backend services, scheduled tasks, and job execution processes. \u00a0
\n\tEnsuring generation and validation of key account files before operational deadlines. \u00a0
\n\tIdentifying performance degradation, memory leaks, service latency, and abnormal system behaviour. \u00a0
\n\tEscalating risks before service impact becomes critical.<\/p>\n
Reporting & Audit Compliance \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tGenerate daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
\n\tProviding structured updates to business stakeholders during high-priority incidents.
