{"id":33150,"date":"2026-04-01T16:00:37","date_gmt":"2026-04-01T16:00:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/southafrica\/job\/senior-manager-group-forensic-services-customer-value-manager\/"},"modified":"2026-04-01T16:01:08","modified_gmt":"2026-04-01T16:01:08","slug":"senior-manager-group-forensic-services-customer-value-manager","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/southafrica\/job\/senior-manager-group-forensic-services-customer-value-manager\/","title":{"rendered":"Senior Manager: Group Forensic Services \n\n\n            \n\n            \n            Customer Value Manager"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>What will you do?<\/p>\n<p>\tThe\u00a0Senior Manager: Group Forensic Services\u00a0will have oversight and provide strategic direction to the Group Forensic team so that the team can meet its objectives of responding to incidents of misconduct committed within or against Santam and provide these specialist services across the Group.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tThey will ensure that there is an effective framework which will prevent, detect, investigate and remediate incidents of misconduct and monitor its effectiveness.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tThe incumbent will be a subject matter expert in the Group on all activities linked to the Forensic functions and is regularly consulted on such matters.<\/p>\n<p>What will make you successful in this role?<\/p>\n<p>\tTalent management: To ensure that the Forensic team is properly resourced with diverse specialists who render specific functions to support the Business Integrity strategy within the different disciplines<br \/>\n\tEffective strategy for Forensic Services: to ensure that that is an effective strategy\/framework for the Group Forensic Services<br \/>\n\tCreating and maintain a whistle-blowing culture:\u00a0to ensure that there is a complainant driven whistle-blowing platform to receive allegations of misconduct which is aligned to legislative requirements<br \/>\n\tIntegrating technology as an enabler in the Forensic process: Identifying opportunities to optimise the team\u2019s output by utilising technology as a tool\u00a0<br \/>\n\tSupporting SAS Fraud Framework: Contributing to the implementation and refinement of the SAS Fraud Framework<br \/>\n\tKnowledge management projects: Ensuring that there are appropriate platforms in place for knowledge sharing to business by reporting and creating awareness on insurance crime trends<br \/>\n\tPromote governance:\u00a0ensuring policies are in place to support a positive culture across the Group<br \/>\n\tEnsure governance alignment across the Group:\u00a0Review supporting policies for subsidiaries to ensure alignment to Santam<br \/>\n\tMaintain a productive team with accurate measures:\u00a0Set targets for Forensic team productivity and monitor the achievement of these targets. Processes in place to keep accurate statistics. Reporting to SESCo and management on team productivity and successes<br \/>\n\tDeliver top quality service:\u00a0Ensure effective quality assurance processes in place<br \/>\n\tCoaching and mentoring: Provide oversight and guidance on complex insurance crime investigations<br \/>\n\tBuilding and maintaining collaborative and meaningful partnerships: Participate and contribute to industry relevant bodies<br \/>\n\tEffective stakeholder engagement:\u00a0Framework in place to support stakeholder management both internal and external<br \/>\n\tBest practices: Conducting research to ensure that the Forensic function has methodologies and practices which are aligned to industry and\/or international best practices<\/p>\n<p>Qualification and Experience<\/p>\n<p>\tMasters in Forensic Investigation<br \/>\n\tMasters in Law or LLB<br \/>\n\tProfessional designation as CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner); FP(SA) (Forensic Practitioner)<br \/>\n\tExperience in leading and managing forensic investigation teams (10-15 years)<br \/>\n\tExperience in the investigation of commercial crime cases namely fraud and corruption (10-15 years)<br \/>\n\tGood understanding and working knowledge of law enforcement processes from investigation to prosecution (10-15 years)<br \/>\n\tExperience in criminal and civil litigation processes (3-5 years)<br \/>\n\tExperience in conducting cyber related investigations (10-15 years)<br \/>\n\tDrafting and reviewing of governance policies (corruption, fraud, fraud response plan, whistle-blower) and reports (10-15 years)<br \/>\n\tImplementation whistle-blowing platforms<br \/>\n\tExploiting technology as a tool to proactively manage fraud &amp; corruption (5-10 years)<br \/>\n\tGeneral insurance experience (5-10 years)<br \/>\n\tComputer literate (3-5 years)<br \/>\n\tAbility develop tools to measure, track and report on investigation, ethics and intelligence productivity (3-5 years)<br \/>\n\tExperience in engaging and briefing subject matter experts (3-5 years)<\/p>\n<p>go to method of application \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Apply via company website ( http:\/\/www.santam.co.za ) or<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_promoted":"","_job_location":"","_application":"","_company_name":"Santam Insurance","_company_website":"http:\/\/www.santam.co.za","_company_tagline":"Santam Limited is the largest short-term insurer in South Africa, with a market share in excess of 22%, providing short-term insurance products through broker networks and direct sales channels.
