What you\u2019ll be Doing:<\/p>\n
\tThe role is responsible for coordinating shift-based transport operations, including route planning, vehicle utilization, and real-time adjustments. It requires on-time performance while supporting ramp-ups, new campaigns, and seasonal demand fluctuations. The role also places strong focus on ensuring reliable and secure transport services for all employees while managing escalations and employee concerns.
\n\tYou will form part of a greater team and report to the Transport Manager within the Facilities Department.<\/p>\n
During a Typical Day you will:<\/p>\n
\tCoordinating shift-based transport operations
\n\tRoute planning and vehicle utilization
\n\tManage real-time operational changes (absenteeism, overtime, peak volumes)
\n\tMaintain on-time pick-up and drop-off performance
\n\tAdjust routes dynamically based on headcount fluctuations
\n\tSupport ramp-ups, new campaigns, and seasonal demand increases
\n\tCost control – monitor cost per seat, route optimization, and vehicle utilization\u00a0
\n\tReviewing and validating trip sheets
\n\tReviewing and validating vendor invoices
\n\tData reporting using transport management system
\n\tHandling escalations and incident investigation
\n\tAddress employee complaints and incident reports promptly
\n\tEnsure vehicle compliance, driver vetting, and safety standards
\n\tEnsure safe, secure, and reliable transport for all employees
\n\tMaintain proper documentation and record keeping<\/p>\n
Education | Experience\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12 qualification
\n\tCertification in transport or logistics (advantageous)
\n\t3+ years\u2019 experience in transport\u00a0
\n\tExperience in a BPO, call center, or 24\/7 high-volume operational environment (highly preferred)
\n\tSolid inbound and outbound transport operations experience
\n\tStrong geographical, logistical, and transport knowledge across Cape Town
\n\tStrong proficiency in MS Excel with a good understanding and experience working with booking systems and operational tools<\/p>\n
