\tThe Finance Data Analyst \/ Scientist plays a central role in transforming how Finance, Operations, and Commercial teams leverage data to drive decision making. \n\tThe role will collaborate closely with FP&A, Finance, Data Engineering, Data Product Manager, HR\/Reward teams, Sales Ops, Senior Business Leaders and other business partners. A key focus is to modernise financial reporting, streamline forecasting, and build scalable analytical products that enhance business understanding. This role is critical in bridging Finance with Technology and Data teams, ensuring that financial logic, controls, and definitions are correctly embedded in data products and reporting systems. The role requires a confident presenter able to communicate, collaborate and gain buy in across a wide variety of stakeholders.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\tDeliver advanced financial analysis, modelling, and scenario planning.\u00a0
\n\tSupport FP&A cycles, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance reviews.\u00a0

\n\tWork with large datasets across Finance, Operations, Commercial, and People\/Reward functions.\u00a0

\n\tDevelop robust Power BI dashboards using Power Query, DAX, and strong data modelling practices.\u00a0
\n\tEnhance and maintain existing dashboards including financial performance, workforce planning, sales compensation, and operations insight.\u00a0
\n\tBuild automated data refresh processes and reporting pipelines.\u00a0
\n\tTranslate business requirements into intuitive, high impact dashboards.\u00a0

\n\tValidate and map data from core systems including Dynamics 365 Finance, Salesforce, and SaaS billing platforms.\u00a0
\n\tOwn and maintain finance KPI definitions, ensuring alignment across reporting tools.\u00a0
\n\tEmbed reconciliation logic, audit requirements, and financial controls within data pipelines.\u00a0
\n\tWork closely with Data Engineering to ensure models are scalable, well documented, and governed.\u00a0

\n\tLead and manage analytical projects spanning FP&A, Commercial, Ops, HR\/Reward, and Tech.\u00a0
\n\tSupport the business with modelling for compensation, sales commissions, workforce analytics, bonus modelling, and scenario analysis.\u00a0
\n\tCollaborate with stakeholders to refine project objectives, timelines, and deliverables.\u00a0
\n\tSupport monthly, quarterly, and annual modelling cycles (e.g., bonus files, salary review models, workforce dashboards).\u00a0

\n\tChampion the evolution of finance data architecture and reporting standards.\u00a0

Key Skills & Experience\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tFinance Expertise\u00a0
\n\tACCA \/ CIMA \/ ACA qualified or part qualified strongly preferred.\u00a0
\n\tStrong understanding of forecasting, budgeting, cost\/margin analysis, financial controls, and monthend processes.\u00a0
\n\tExperience in FP&A, commercial finance, operational analytics, or similar finance roles.\u00a0
\n\tExperience in producing dashboards & recommendation-led analysis covering people data\/analytics including variable compensation (bonuses\/commissions\/annual pay reviews)\u00a0<\/p>\n
Technical & Analytical Skills\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tAdvanced Power BI skills including DAX, Power Query, Mlanguage, and data modelling.\u00a0
\n\tDegree in Finance, Economics, Data Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics, or similar.\u00a0
\n\tCertifications in analytics, Power BI, SQL, Python, AI\/ML, or cloud data platforms are an advantage.\u00a0
\n\tStrong SQL skills for querying and transforming data.\u00a0
\n\tExperience with Python or R for statistical analysis, modelling, and automation.\u00a0
\n\tFamiliarity with data lakehouse environments and modern cloud-based data platforms.\u00a0
\n\tAbility to convert business rules and finance logic into structured data models.\u00a0
\n\tComfort working with APIs, large datasets, and multiple system integrations.\u00a0
\n\tStrong PPT\/reporting skills and extensive experience in presenting dynamically to senior company leadership level.\u00a0
\n\tProactive in using, testing and benefiting from AI both in terms of efficiency, but also proactive analysis\/improvements to support business growth.\u00a0

\n\tPredictive modelling and machine learning experience.\u00a0
