Job Description<\/p>\n
\tA well-established wine estate in the Northern Suburbs is seeking an experienced Pastry Chef to take responsibility for the pastry section of the kitchen.
\n\tThis role requires a candidate who can maintain high quality standards, work independently, and operate effectively within a structured kitchen environment.<\/p>\n
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES<\/p>\n
\tPreparation and cooking for the pastry section
\n\tMaintain quality and presentation standards as set by Executive Chef
\n\tAssist with ordering and stock control for pastry section
\n\tEnsure kitchen hygiene, food safety and quality compliance
\n\tCoordinate pastry preparation and service
\n\tSupport wider kitchen operations where required
\n\tLead by example in work ethic, discipline and professionalism<\/p>\n
NON-NEGOTIABLE REQUIREMENTS<\/p>\n
\tMinimum 2 years\u2019 experience as a Pastry Chef
\n\tOwn reliable transport (estate not on public transport route)
\n\tAble to work shifts
\n\tFluent in English
\n\tSouth African citizen
\n\tAvailable immediately or within 2 weeks
\n\tWilling to complete a trial shift to demonstrate skillset<\/p>\n
