\tA\u00a0dynamic software company\u00a0that manufactures and supplies highly specialized end-user applications for the agricultural sector, is seeking\u00a0three Soil and Plant Solutions Specialists\u00a0to join our team, based in\u00a0Western Cape, Northern Cape and Eastern Cape.<\/p>\n
Duties and Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tMarketing to generate new business
\n\tScheduling and confirmation of appointments
\n\tDo a Site survey to assess or determine what is needed on site before quotation
\n\tInstallation of DFM equipment (i.e. Soil Moisture Probes, Probe Repeaters, CPR and ProCPR, etc.)
\n\tInstallation and repairs of DFM automation equipment (i.e. FarmPro, MB4000, PU and ICS1, etc.)
\n\tProvide Training on all DFM Products to clients
\n\tYou must be able to give a demo on Probe Utilities, ICS1, FarmPro and MB4000
\n\tMaintenance and repairs of all DFM equipment
\n\tDo Probe inspections to ensure the power consumption is correct
\n\tGeneral Troubleshooting for all DFM equipment
\n\tDriver\u2019s license is ESSENTIAL
\n\tFully Bilingual English and Afrikaans
\n\tAble to communicate with clients at all levels
\n\tGood knowledge of Plant and Soil Science
\n\tMust be willing to travel extensively and be away from home for extended periods of time<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements:<\/p>\n
Education and Experience:<\/p>\n
\tExperience in Agriculture would be beneficial
\n\tGood knowledge of Plant and Soil Science \u2013 ESSENTIAL
\n\tAgricultural Qualification would be beneficial
\n\tGrade 12\/Matric, with a strong background in Mathematics
\n\tRelevant Tertiary education will be advantageous<\/p>\n
Knowledge and Skills:<\/p>\n
\tMinimum of ONE year\u2019s sales experience
\n\tValid Driver’s License is essential
\n\tComputer Literate in MS Office
\n\tBe able to fluently speak and write both English and Afrikaans
\n\tMust be willing to travel extensively and be away from home for extended periods
\n\tA POSITIVE outlook on life, self-challenging nature and high levels of energy is required<\/p>\n
