Role Purpose:<\/p>\n
\tPerforms advanced technical service including troubleshooting, in complex and complicated matters, of site equipment, machinery, systems and processes to ensure their continuous functionality.<\/p>\n
Your responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tAwareness of financial implications through ensuring site and commissioning costs are within the estimated value by the Control of sub suppliers site costs, managing site instructions and extra claims, controlling actual service hours within the estimated hours.
\n\tTo ensure equipment is operational as per design and that equipment is installed as per design specifications and QCP.
\n\tCommission equipment to ensure operations are within design specifications and safety standards then handover to client with necessary documentation and provide the necessary close out reports.
\n\tDevelop, update templates for FLS equipment inspections and deviation list and submit to clients \/ internally.
\n\tMarketing and sales of own expertise.
\n\tEvaluates machinery, equipment, systems and processes performance in order to make decisions regarding the need for operational maintenance in a technically highly sophisticated environment.
\n\tTroubleshoots operational maintenance problems of machinery, equipment, systems and processes to secure continuous proper functionality.
\n\tMakes suggestions for upgrades of machinery, equipment, systems and processes to ensure continuous functionality.
\n\tPerforms tests of machinery, equipment, systems and processes to ensure their functionality.
\n\tPerforms inspections\/service assignments of minerals processes to assess the need for maintenance.
\n\tBe willing to perform work in underground conditions and extended working hours.
\n\tPrepared to work outside the borders of SA for extended periods.
\n\tPerform site service administrations as required for site and office specific tasks.
\n\tProvide support to site sales.
\n\tEffective communication\/ liaison with client and manage expectations<\/p>\n
What you bring<\/p>\n
\tMechanical Technical Qualification (N3 with red seal trade test) minimum requirement \/ National Diploma.
\n\t2 yrs experience in supervision position will be advantageous.
\n\tExperience in at least one of the following product lines is essential: HPGR\/Crushing\/Milling\/Liquid solid separation
\n\tThorough knowledge of equipment, products, site operations and maintenance.
\n\t3 years\u2019 working experience in the engineering discipline.\u00a0
\n\tComputer literate in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook and MS Projects.
